Amauri linked to Chinese newcomers
Ambitious newly-promoted Chinese Super League club Dalian Aerbin are talking with Juventus striker Amauri.
Chinese football website Sina Sports claims the Chinese outfit, who had been keen on Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, have turned their attention to the 31-year-old Italian, who is currently out of favour with the Serie A giants.
Dalian Aerbin are understood to have 20 million euros to spend to buy a big-name striker.
The former Chievo, Palermo and Parma man has struggled for opportunities at Juventus in recent seasons and there has been previous talk about him being offloaded.
Earlier this week, fellow Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua completed a bumper deal for Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka in the biggest signing in CSL history.
The financial power of Chinese clubs has increased in recent times following the emergence of Guangzhou Evergrande, who won the 2011 CSL title after spending big on their playing squad.
