is there any article suggesting that?
There are articles saying that Amauri and his wife(Cynthia?) decided together that he should have a pay-rise in his wages.

May not be related to the Milan story, but this request from him comes right after Milan approach. Could be only my imagination anyway.

if what they are suggesting is true, then it is definitely a possibility...all part and parcel of the games they play when they are trying to get a better contract

I don't believe in that.
I do though. It's not like Amauri plays here for love. I wish our directors will not fullfil his wish and they'll force him to respect the contract, at least until he proves that he deserves to be our best paid player, but i still find his wish to have a pay-rise logical.
He's trying to get as much as possible, 99% of the players would do that, but he should be told that he can't have everything he wants.

Seriously if its true that he's asked for a pay rise,i find that extremely disrespectful. If milan offer mad money for him i see no reason why he should stay IMO.There's no telling if he will replicate the form he has shown next season.

Yeah right, lets do a Zlatan Ibrahimovic again. Lets sell one of our best players to a direct rival so he can bring them titles while we're fighting for a CL spot.

It's simple, he should be told that he'll get the pay rise when he proves that he deserves one. If he doesn't accept that and he starts doing everything in order to be sold then we sell him but not to Milan or Inter.
If he accepts that and starts doing everything to deserve the pay rise, then it's a win-win situation both for Juve and Amauri.
