oh he said it.

“Miccoli e Del Piero? Sono due grandissimi campioni. Alex per la continuità di tutti questi anni, dimostra sempre di essere un grandissimo campione, Fabri, al di là dell’amicizia che mi lega a lui, ho sempre detto che probabilmente è il giocatore più forte con cui ho giocato a fianco
he said there both great champions alex for the consistency over all these years he has always demonstrated to be a champion. miccoli besides the great friendship i have with him i have always said he is probably the best player i have played side by side with....

wow thats fucked up. i have lost some love for him there.

He didn't compare the two, but did say Miccoli was the best player he ever played with. I like the guy, but he's obviously a madman so I wouldn't bother too much.

That was a perfectly fine answer than. Saying he's the best player he has ever played with, is not the same as saying "he is a better player than DP", as was first implied. It's his personal preference obviously, he feels Miccoli suited him more.

Read that again. Amauri was full of praise for both.

Tuttosport then added that Mediagol had quoted Amauri incorrectly, saying that Miccoli > DP. What is Mediagol? Palermo sports news.

i guess, maybe he just ment suited him more ok if its that fair enough but if he is saying miccoli is better well thats just stupid.

Even if he didn't say that but to say Miccoli is the best player he has ever played with is funny. I mean really funny.

Isn't he training with Trezeguet, Del Piero, Camoranesi, Giovinco? Or he's having a separate training probably.

He can think that Molinaro is the best player he ever played with and Del Piero is the worst one. Who cares?
As long as he does what he's supposed to do on the pitch, his personal opinion about life, football, poetry or politics is of absolutely no importance.

Ermmm we care?:shifty:

We are Juventus fans no? It's not like we are making a petition asking him to quit the Club, but it's only right that we find it funny and hilarious when he finds Miccoli ahead of some of our players, keep aside Del Piero, Nedved, Trezeguet.

It's his right nevertheless, but I do think there are times where you have to be smart because obviously fans and his current mates do read the newspapers and will also find this either funny or weirdy.

Who cares anyway!?!? Giovinco was a Milan fan. that upset me for all of 1min but i got over it.
Yah, that story about Giovinco was even less important and less meaningful than this one about Amauri. Giovinco said that he liked Milan as a kid, a very small kid, before he started training with Juve (more or less, until he was 7 or 8 years old). Even Maldini admitted many times that he was a Juve fan as a small kid, before he became part of Milan's youth teams.
Actually, if a player is a professional and respects the team that's paying his wages, he can be an ultra Milan or Inter fan but i will love him if he gives his all for Juve. Zambrotta was a Milan fan and he was always giving everything for Juve, Buffon is a Genoa fan etc etc etc.

Its like John Terry of chelsea always stated that he was a Man Utd fan when he was growing up, but says that the only club he supports now is chelsea.

How long will it take for Amauri to be back?
Initially it was said that he'll be out for a month. Later i read that it might take a little longer and today channel4 says that Amauri will be out for 2 months.
