Great match by Amauri.. His partnership with Del Piero is starting to make sense. They are starting to know each other well.. More success to come :)

I rather Dunga not select him and wait for the call-up from Lippi.

Playing for Italy meant he meant him wont travel half the globe to South America for Qualifiers, return jet-lagged and spoil the regime with Juventus ...

With how things are going with the niggling injuries to Trez and IQ, can't afford to lose him at the moment, not at all.

Last night's match proved without a shadow of a doubt that Amauri is a big match player. an assist and a goal vs the giant that is Real Madrid.

We may look like we overpaid for him, but he's really starting to show us just how much he is useful.

Agreed. Amauri for the Azzurri! Kick Chokelardino, Bigfoot, Pizzaface, Pepe, Di Fa(r)tale, Quasimodo all out! :scarf:

Thankfully, Dunga doesnt. :)

He'll be a huge addition for the Azzurri squad, if he does get the call from Lippi. And could make all the difference in South Africa. Although, the debate would be a raging one and I'd have to say, I'd agree he play for Brazil or nobody at all.

Forza Azzurri.
