The same could be said about Del Piero. Bring Maradona back, he'd score so many more goals than DP.

Of course Villa is better than Amauri, nobody is arguing that. My God folks here are braindead.
Fuck Diego, seriously if Zidane was here we'd win the CL without a doubt.
Thanks to Legro being here and not Scirea, we will not win the CL. Thanks, Legro, you're an ass for not being Scirea, plus you suck since you can't be a libero (which we don't even use anyway).
This is the level of retardation on these forums.
Trez should leave for Muller. Gerd Muller.
Why say in one post what you can say in 8... No wonder you have 71,000 posts on this forum

Come on Andy, what your saying is clearly missing the point, no one is talking about Maradonna or Muller or Scirea. Someone said David Villa wouldn't improve this team, and that is what is being argued...

AS IF DEL PIERO CAN DEFEND

Absolute retardation.

Stupid posts galore, nothing to write home about.
Do you just pick one part of a post, not consider the content and then attack it. Clearly, if you looked at the content what I said is that Amauri is such a bad attacker he should be a defender, then I said he's not even good at that. I didnt say all attackers should be amazing defenders  but at least Del Piero is good at what he is supposed to be good at. Amauri is just rubbish at everything.

I really dont understand how you can bitterly criticise players like Sissoko, Cannavaro and Grosso (ok i can understand Grosso..) and then have this love affair for amauri. A player who contributes absolutely nothing whenever he is on the field.

You surely aren't looking at your hysterical posts on the last page, it really is laughable coming from a member like yourself.
:andyandbarcelona:

Honestly, I couldn't care less. Anybody could sit here and say that Villa is the better striker. Tell us something we don't know, or bugger off.

Nobody in their right mind would contest that, but if Villa has no service, he wouldn't be scoring nearly as many goals as he is in Valencia.

Polly want a fucking cracker?

Hope you don't mind that I got rid of the verbal diahorrea.
Now go back and read my post.
Nobody contested villa would score as many goals as he at Valencia, but he'd do better at juve than amauri is currently doing due to his agressive and speedy style.

I don't have a love affair for Amauri, I actually criticized him in today's live thread.

I just hate parroting posters who only say " Del Piero is better than Amauri" and the like. You add NOTHING to conversation.

Again, no shit, tell us something we don't know.

I'm waiting.

But Amauri is unfairly targeted when we have the worst defense in the league with several folks' favorite player Canna at the helm and a non-existent midfield who can't even connect three passes together on a regular basis.

I don't defend Amauri because I think he's something decent, I defend him because the majority of this forum doesn't understand what this team's problem is.

Actually, David Villa wouldn't improve this team at its core. We might score a few more goals but the same problems would still exist. He'd have no service and would be starved without a doubt.

Wow, someboby flicked the 'sane' switch on your brain.
David villa would be starved to an extent but the amount of times he's hunted down a defender, tackled him which has lead to an attempt on goal shows his independance is priceless.

You just can't take a joke at your own incompetence.
