Amauri wasn't at his best yet again but I must confess that I admire and loved the way he was fighting for each ball and the way he was getting back helping our midfielders. That was enough for me.

It's not the Amauri hate. It's the Juve love. Stop trying to convince us that Amauri is great these days. Because if this is his potential or even 50% of it, then we got ourselves the worst striker since decades.

I know he can perform better. But right now, criticizing Amauri is the only logical thing to do. You can't say it's needless. It's December already and the guy still thinks it's pre-season.
But he didn't have a bad game today.

It's comments like "he still thinks it's pre-season" that make me think folks truly hate Amauri. Such a comment makes it seem like he's not trying his best when he is; such a comment makes it seem more sinister than just being off form.

Now, if I said the same about Alex, I bet I'd receive tons of negative responses even when he's been quite poor recently.

There's nothing wrong with criticizing the players and the team, but why do it on a day like today when Amauri wasn't poor and we won? To me, it seems more like some sort of hate than anything else.

Well, first of all, I think he had a really bad game today. Actually, I don't criticize a player for playing bad in one, two or even five matches. Amauri has been bad since the start of the season. If not since the last month of last season as well.

I'm not the guy who would give a negative response for criticizing Alex or any other player in a long run of bad form. I did criticized Alex back in 2007/2008 when he had a run of 10 awful matches before signing his contract and was always given a start over Iaquinta.

This season, Amauri commits a foul with every one-to-one challenge. His positioning is AWFUL. No one can deny that, He doesn't move well off the ball. He loses possession too easily.

I don't hate Amauri. I know he can do a much better job. I've always cheered for him. But, right now, he needs to work A LOT.

Anyways, as I said before, the Bayern game will show us the real Amauri of this season. I hope to see the one I used to call " THE BEAST".

A FW is only as good as the opportunities created for him...in this match, again, the MF created nothing for him...he can improve his positioning and off the ball movement, but the bottom line is that the MF simply is not doing its job offensively

Amauri is getting loads of chances and loads of playing time. He isn't doing anything special to deserve all that. I want Trezeguet to get his chance too.
