Well amauri does plenty of that doesn't he. 64 goals in 282 goals in Italy is a record that speaks for itself especially at his age. Lets not go into that comparison to save Amauri the embarrassment.
You guys claim i am buying the epl shit? well that epl has been pwning serie a for years. (who knocked the bogeyman out of the CL?)
You must be nuts to think rooney is not world class. Your bias is completely blinding you. I am a liverpool fan and i don't see Torres as better than rooney.
Better goal scorer? Sure. Work ethic? hell no!. Spirit? hell no. Fitness? Hell No!
Contribution to defense? Hell No! Passer? Hell No!
Torres is a goal scoring machine and he excels at that without a doubt and i love him because he is the best at doing that. Rooney is more complete and that makes them balance out.
Amauri is worse than half of the Epl strikers. Saha, Defoe, Keane, Rooney, Berbatov, Drogba, Torres, Van Persie, Adebayor, tevez, Bellamy, Carlton Cole, Anelka, Owen, Kuyt.
Not to mention serie A: Eto, milito, balotelli, Pato, Izaghi, Totti, Quagliarella, Di Natali, Miccoli, Lavezzi, Di Vaio, Crespo, Vucinic, Gilardino, Trez, DP, IQ
Bundesliga: Klose, Toni, Mario Gomez, Grafite, Dzeko.
La Liga: All madrid and barca strikers + Villa, forlan, Aguero.
There are more... these are what i can remember for now.

Why so?
I've already pointed out why IQ & trez are better in a previous post. Appears the most, scores the least and only with his head. They appear less, score more and using both legs and headers.
And I've also showed why rooney is world class. The trophies he has won the team. The individual awards he got. His attributes are by far better than most world class players. Coaches shower him with praise. Chelsea players shower him with praise.
we are just stuck in a case where you are telling me he is not world and class and i am telling you he is.
You obviously do not watch Manu very often or else you'd have figured by now that he is their most important player. He is man of the match in 5 games so far. He is always improving year by year.. what else do you need?
