Here is the official goal.com article :

Amauri To Sign For Juve Today?

Juventus could complete the signing of Amauri today, after the club agreed to meet the Brazilian’s wage demands.

Amauri had seemed certain to sign for Juventus until recently, when negotiations hit a brick wall over two main points.

First of all the striker was demanding €3.7m-a-season in wages, while the Bianonceri were only prepared to pay €3m.

Secondly an agreement couldn’t be found over the Juve players who would move to Palermo as part of the exchange.

However the Corriere says that a deal could be completed today after Juventus finally agreed to pay Amauri the €3.7m he was asking for, and general manager Jean-Claude Blanc will immediately deliver the news to the striker’s representatives.

Juventus have also upped their transfer offer to Palermo, which is now €10m plus the loan of Antonio Nocerino, and full ownership of either Davide Lanzafame or Claudio Marchisio.

It seems that Palermo have finally given up on hope of capturing Sebastian Giovinco, however the inclusion of a rising star in the form of Lanzafame or Marchisio should be enough to appease them.

If all goes well, Amauri could officially be a Juventus player by the end of today.

Now this:

Amauri: I Would Love To Play With Kaka

Palermo striker Amauri has dropped another bombshell by revealing that he would like to play alongside fellow Brazilian Kaka at Milan.

Juventus have been in regular talks with Palermo chiefs over the past month and the Bianconeri were favourtites to sign their man with reports suggesting that the deal would be completed today.

However, with Amauri still unsure over his future, the deal may, once again, stumble.

"Me and Kaka would be amazing together at Milan, it would be the best," Amauri told Sky Sport Italia.

"The fact that there are so many Brazilians at Milan would make it much easier for me to insert myself within the group.

"Even if they don't qualify for the Champions League, they are still a great side full of champions." Just a few days ago Amauri warned that he would not go to the Rossoneri unless they qualified for the Champions League.

His move to the Bianconeri seems imminent but nothing will be certain following this latest revelation. Palermo are also demanding more than what Juve are prepared to offer and so the Brazilian might just have a chance to join Milan if talks with the Bianconeri fail.

I just dont really bother with this whole situation anymore, if he comes he will probably do well for us as he is a good player, if he does not, we save alot of money on our car insurance by switching to Geico.

this was said on sky sports italia which is reliable, but now this Amauri thing is really starting to piss me off
lol the Carlo bit was just a joke, i knew it was from sky.. I understand Amauri's right to express his will to get paid as much as possible but his constant self auctioning that he has created between us & Milan has gone too far IMO and speaks volumes of his character. A character which has never succeded at Juventus nor never will
