How is Palermo currently not bigger than Parma? They have a bigger budget, better results and are higher on the standings. Parma will play Serie B next season. They must be a huge club.
In terms of Budget, expendure and generaly just money, Palermo are in the top 7 if not higher in Serie A.
Sorry , didn't mentioned when Gila was in Parma .

of course i know Palermo is a better club than Parma in the current time . :agree:

Cheers .

I don't buy that shite at all. Gilardino is a FLOP. If Tiago entered Juve's top 10 flops of all time, Gilardino will top the list.

Anyways, we will have another candidate for top of the flops next season. :touched:
Eh..no.Gilardino certainly isnt as horrible as you make him out to be.You have a personal vendetta against Italians perhaps, which is exactly opposite to people who want specific players at Juventus because they're Italian.

:agree: the oppurtunity cost of getting Amauri is too high, he shouldnt be proirity and many more players particulary in defense are not only valid alternatives but IMO better alternatives considering all factors (mainly financial)

Amauri Close To Milan Move – Report
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Palermo have scrapped negotiations with Juventus to sell them Amauri, and the striker will now move to Milan instead.
Print This Story Send To A Friend Contact Us Brazilian striker Amauri had seemed almost certain to sign for Juventus, however negotiations then hit a snag over two main points.

First of all the Bianconeri have refused to meet the 27-year-old’s €3.75m a season wages, only offering €3m.

Secondly both Juve and Palermo have failed to reach an agreement over the players who will be included in part exchange.

As a result, the Gazzetta says that Palermo are now ready to accept Milan’s far superior offer for Amauri.

Milan are willing to pay €15m, and also include Lino Marzorati and Ignazio Abate in the deal, both of whom are currently at Empoli this season, the former on loan, and the latter in a co-ownership deal.

Palermo are ready to accept this offer, as they look to finally close what has become something of a long drawn-out soap transfer saga.

Juventus meanwhile could be left disappointed at missing out yet again on a top transfer target to a close rival. However, if confirmed, club supporters may be more relieved by the news that Giovinco, who had been rumoured to be on his way to Palermo, looks likely to stay now

let him go to milan as flamini..money lovers.
i prefer players that love the jersey and not the money!
How do you expect him to love the Juve jersey? He is brazilian, so the chances are not big.
And what do you suggest? To bring only players who love the team? That's impossible.
IMO he doesn't love money. He likes both teams and that doesn't make a difference for him(CL provided). So why not to go where they offer him more money?

Now i know we can't compete in terms of transfer costs but it's sad to think we can't even compete when it comes to the players' salary.. FFS we cant attract top quality players by offering wages substantially below the market rate and this further proves my point that we will get left behind badly and when our champs are gone we will be a mess
