Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira (31 Viewers)

At what cost would you be ok with Amauri?

  • Giovinco + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + Giovinco

  • Nocerino + Almiron + Marchionni

  • Almiron + Marchionni + cash

  • Fuck no, don't want him at all

Giovinco is coming to Turin. If Ranieri had any sense in him, he would convince the board that Giovinco should some to Juve immediately. Amauri will go to Milan, it seems a lot more likely. We will probably end up with Gilardino since Milan don't want him anyway.

Beautiful. We will end up with Gilardino. Can't get any worse than this. We will get a Milan reject while they will get a great striker in Amauri. I think people that are saying we don't need Amauri or any other good forward will eat their words next season when Gilardino starts playing like Palladino but with some ingredients of Nocerino and Grygera.

Gila was Marvelous when he was at Parma , although he's shite in Milan , and i wouldn't mind if we get him , of course with the reasonable price .
Milan's environment just doesn't suit him well , I hope if we get him , he can back to his real form .

I don't buy that shite at all. Gilardino is a FLOP. If Tiago entered Juve's top 10 flops of all time, Gilardino will top the list.

Anyways, we will have another candidate for top of the flops next season. :touched:

I agree with Iko.

I have said it before. Gilardino was good in a small team and that is all too common in Italian football. How many times have we seen a player play brilliantly for the small teams and fail miserably for the big teams. Tavano? Suazo?

The chances of him continuing to play like shit are large, I don't want to take a stupid risk and buy a player who will probably flop anyway. If you want young and Italian, get G.Rossi, not Gilardino./

I'm with mark and Juverev on this one, Gila is just a terrible player i dont know how anyone could want him, and dont give me the he was great in Parma bullsit, Hubner was great in Breschia and James Beattie was marvellous for Southampton, i dont see anyone asking for those players for Juve.

Gila is Italian and young. That automatically makes him a great player. :agree:

wasn't really pointed at his age , but we know someone bad talking about him because he's Italian .

I wouldn't mind if we get Amauri but with not included Giovinco into the deal . :disagree:

Gila was great when he was in Parma , Amauri doing well in Palermo , Gila is a Flop in Milan , and Amauri also has that identical possibility in the future .

tbh its not the end of the world if we don't get amauri. We are going over the top for this player who is ready to turn and run to Milan only because they offer him more money.

I dont support this board much but what Dule90 reported as our offer was more than reasonable for him, we should hold up that offer imo. Anything more is not worth it.

I dont think Juvenrus should be looking to sign a striker anyways, you guys have 3 top strikers, and Palladino as 4th choice isnt as bad as he's made out to be. I can thinki of many top teams who dont have as good a strikeforce as Juventus tbh.

Imo, More pressing matters are getting a leftback, a Nedved replacement and a quality centerback .

I have said it many times I talk bad about him because he is ---> BAD.

Agreed on not giving away Giovinco.

I don't think Amauri will flop at big club. Have you seen the player and his abilities? I don't think so so thank you very much. The difference in quality is obvious. It's like comparing a Drogba to Inzaghi who can't score, not the Inzaghi who bags 2 goals per game.

Peace and out. :pint:

It's mixed news really. Milan are back in the race, because we (finally?) decided Giovinco is unsellable. Palermo do not want Nocerino and (50% of)Lanzafame instead. That and Amauri will get much better wages at Milan.

Dammit, Amauri is so freaking good though. :(

Though I do not agree that Gilardino is hopeless. He's not one of the best strikers around like Amauri, but Gilardino could refind himself. He'd be able to directly replace Trezeguet in our style of play, as they are pretty similar, the pressure would be off somewhat of both players and due to Gilardino's poor season's he can't be expensive and ask for a starting place.

The cda meet today though, to discuss the Amauri case one final time.

Palermo is bigger than Parma ?

    :howler:
In terms of Budget, expendure and generaly just money, Palermo are in the top 7 if not higher in Serie A.

I still dont understand why we would need Gilardino or Amauri. We have Del Piero and Trezeguet still. They will be playing up front again next year. As a third option we have Iaquinta, and he was great this year. We also have Palladino, and as a fourth striker, you can't ask for more than that. We might need five strikers, but we dont need Amauri or Gilardino. Strikers is the only department where we are covered.
