I guarantee to all the Morons that Amauri will flop like shit when his feet comes here , he is OVERRATED AND OVERPRICED that's why he is Brazilian ...

I don't like him and Gilardino too , but sometimes i think that Milan ruined him , and he can become better cause he is still young ...

FORGET ABOUT HUNTELAAR ALREADY, WAY TOO EXPENSIVE AND EPL OR REAL MADRID BOUND, HE WON'T JOIN US, HE DOESN'T WANT TO PLAY SERIEA.

And now caps lock can be turned off again.
Afterall, Huntelaar has already been in a Nike commercial. Which means:
  • He'll go for an obscene amount of money that we don't have
  • He'll play for sh*t

Come to think of it, this could be made up by the Juve board to loosen up Palermo and their strict demands. I still pray we don't get Amauri.
If they insist upon Giovinco as part of the Amauri deal, then this is one time I will praise Secco and crew if they f*ck up this deal and it doesn't go through.

When we bought them, Cannavaro was old & washed up, Zanetti was just always mediocre & Sissoko couldnt pass a ball into barnyard shed from 2 metres away.. If the interest is real, in which i think it is, I'm not going to write Gilardino off until he is in front of goal in a bianconeri jersey.. TBH I have a real fear that Secco will trade Seba in a loan with option to buy and or a co-ownership (He won't go there purely on loan as there is no point in that on behalf of Palermo) and throw this in with Secco's absolute desire to land Amauri combined with his stupidness then it is pretty scary... I'd much rather get back Giovinco & buy Gilardino than loose half of Seba and get Amauri

:rofl2: I am loving these arguments: Gilardino is younger, Juve fan and was a great finisher at Parma and he is Italian.

Gilardino downright SUCKS! I can now see the standard of knowledge of current posters. Frankly, I lost any will to post in this thread when people think Gilardino is better than Amauri. Check that guys's post, Amauri is Brazilian and I hate him? WTF? Are you stupid or what? Amauri is a superior player any way you compare them. If you want to dump a great striker just because we would lose one of our fucking youngster who maybe won't even become a good player for that piece of useless shit Gilardino, be my guest. But please, don't ever say one bad word again about Secco. You criticise him yet you would turn Juventus into a circus with playres of Gilardino's calibre. I just hope our Board will not listen your advices. Morons....
No way Gila is better than Amauri. But the price for Amauri is ridiculous.

Blog: Tainted love
Recent confusion aside, Amauri is likely to be Juventus’ first summer signing. But Paul Watson fears the Palermo star isn't the Old Lady’s Mr Right

The personification of pace, power and poise, it is little wonder that Amauri has become this summer’s must-have accessory for a title chasing side. But while you can’t quarrel with his achievements on the pitch, Amauri’s performances in Press conferences have been less than convincing.

“I am 91 per cent Juve and it will be an honour to wear the Juve shirt,” the Sao Paulo native declared a fortnight ago. However, there wasn’t even time to print his name on the back of a replica shirt before he had changed his tune. “Nothing is decided – I’m focusing on Palermo,” he insisted.

Touching sentiments, but sadly what Amauri really meant was that some other glamorous suitors had turned his head. And sure enough, he let his deepest fantasy slip when he suggested a ménage à trois with Milan where he would play six months with each side.

But it’s not the first time Amauri has flaunted his fickle disposition. Born in Brazil, the former Chievo man is pressing to get an Italian passport so that he can represent the Azzurri. Fair enough you may think, he has fallen in love with the Bel Paese, but he has openly admitted that he will snub Italy if he gets the Selecao call first. Pragmatism rules in Amauri’s world.

It seems that Serie A’s Casanova has an ego to match his talent and I wonder whether the Old Lady will be able to put up with his wandering eye. Amauri is a mercenary and is out for what he can get – an attitude that stands in complete contrast with the Juventus ethos. At the moment there’s a state of harmony in the Bianconeri dressing room, in spite of the superstar egos, but Amauri could be like a bull in a china shop.

So accustomed to being the main man, how will he cope with spending significant periods of time on the bench? Claudio Ranieri will be looking to rotate his squad more next term, given the added pressure of Champions League football, and he will need players who understand that the team comes first. If Vincenzo Iaquinta and Raffaele Palladino don’t seem to have the patience, what hope is there for Amauri?

Ask Palermo fans what they think about that article. Amauri is a well respected person in Palermo and appreciated more than the likes of Zaccardo and Barzagli. He gave his all for Palermo, playing the best football of his career. People just don't know what they are talking about. Amauri is a God of Palermo like Alessandro Del Piero is a God of Turin. Some people just like to act smart and talk bullshit.

Who is talking here about Giovinco anyway? We are talking about people preferring Gilardino to Amauri.
But we're not preffering Gilardino to Amauri as players, but as transfer targets. We want to buy a squad player, to add us some depth, and Amauri is, in this case, overpriced.

We don't neccesary have to send Giovinco to get Amauri. That is just Palermo's request which was not granted so I don't buy into that argument.

And why buy just a poor, squad player? What's the point of buying a forward then? I will rather keep Palladino in that case. We have Iaquinta as a squad player. We need another star forward and I don't see Gilardino as that player.
