sick mind at work here: :spliff: :burke: :claire:

Why is Milan so pissed at us and signed a player we publicly declared interest to the media in Flamini and busting our balls for another one in Amauri?

Who was the player Berlusconi had wet dreams about and now says he doesn't want at all?

<--- = NIKE = JUVE

:rulz:

OR

we plainly suck at managing the mercato by declaring interest in a player and be played by their agents and current clubs to get more $$$.

Well I'm afraid it's second since Dinho said today that he's going to Milan.

Amauri had appeared almost certain to sign for the Bianconeri, and Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini earlier this week stated that a deal was “98 per cent completed”, with the finishing touches being applied next week.

However yesterday evening Amauri delivered a sensational announcement, saying that he may not join Juve any longer.

“It’s not certain I am leaving this season. At the end of the campaign I will talk to Zamparini and he’ll set out his plans,” said the Brazilian.

The Gazzetta dello Sport now says that the major snag in Amauri’s move has come about due to wages.

The 27-year-old is demanding €3.75m a season, but Alessio Secco and the Juventus management are refusing to pay him more than €3m, and have made it clear they will not be changing their mind.

As a result it is now looking possible that Milan, who are more than happy to cough up the extra €750k, will be allowed by Juve to step in and sign Amauri instead.

In return Milan will sell the Old Lady forward flop Gilardino, who was certain to leave the club at the end of the season anyway.

Gila has had a miserable three seasons at San Siro since joining from Parma in 2005, however a question mark remains over how much the Rossoneri will demand for a player they paid €24m for.

Recent confusion aside, Amauri is likely to be Juventus’ first summer signing. But Paul Watson fears the Palermo star isn't the Old Lady’s Mr Right
The personification of pace, power and poise, it is little wonder that Amauri has become this summer’s must-have accessory for a title chasing side. But while you can’t quarrel with his achievements on the pitch, Amauri’s performances in Press conferences have been less than convincing.

“I am 91 per cent Juve and it will be an honour to wear the Juve shirt,” the Sao Paulo native declared a fortnight ago. However, there wasn’t even time to print his name on the back of a replica shirt before he had changed his tune. “Nothing is decided – I’m focusing on Palermo,” he insisted.

Touching sentiments, but sadly what Amauri really meant was that some other glamorous suitors had turned his head. And sure enough, he let his deepest fantasy slip when he suggested a ménage à trois with Milan where he would play six months with each side.

But it’s not the first time Amauri has flaunted his fickle disposition. Born in Brazil, the former Chievo man is pressing to get an Italian passport so that he can represent the Azzurri. Fair enough you may think, he has fallen in love with the Bel Paese, but he has openly admitted that he will snub Italy if he gets the Selecao call first. Pragmatism rules in Amauri’s world.

It seems that Serie A’s Casanova has an ego to match his talent and I wonder whether the Old Lady will be able to put up with his wandering eye. Amauri is a mercenary and is out for what he can get – an attitude that stands in complete contrast with the Juventus ethos. At the moment there’s a state of harmony in the Bianconeri dressing room, in spite of the superstar egos, but Amauri could be like a bull in a china shop.

So accustomed to being the main man, how will he cope with spending significant periods of time on the bench? Claudio Ranieri will be looking to rotate his squad more next term, given the added pressure of Champions League football, and he will need players who understand that the team comes first. If Vincenzo Iaquinta and Raffaele Palladino don’t seem to have the patience, what hope is there for Amauri?

to tell you the truth i would rather have gila and keep giovinco,de ceglie and marchiso than get amauri and loose some/all of them
I've got to agree there, I don't know why but i can see Gilardino with Juve as a real good combination. I'd prefer other players, but this shit with Amauri is getting old real fast.

I believe Gila would regain his Parma form if he had to join us.

I'm shocked that people actually want Gila to play for Juve. I hope you guys realize that he has the footballing abilities of a 90 year old woman. Another thing, how is he at all better than Iaquinta who is ten times better as a finisher and everything else. What could Gila give to this team? FFS, the guy sucks.

Gilardino is still the same player that scored over 20 goals two seasons in a row. Besides he's still only 25 years old. Milan fucked him up, but I'm sure he can get back to his best at a new club. I'd take him, for a reasonable price. He is a perfect understudy for Trez.
