Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira (38 Viewers)

At what cost would you be ok with Amauri?

  • Giovinco + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + Giovinco

  • Nocerino + Almiron + Marchionni

  • Almiron + Marchionni + cash

  • Fuck no, don't want him at all

  • Almiron+cash

This really does seem ridiculous though.

I like Amauri, but lets be real honest... he is an above average striker who is unproven in Europe, uncapped internationally, and is a relatively late bloomer. Why is Juventus treating his transfer like this is Aguero, Ronaldinho or Cristiano Ronaldo? They shouldn't be dictating terms like demanding at least two of our top young players, plus a significant cash component all while dragging their heels.

If Palermo won't take Nocerino and a maximum of 15m Euro, then walk away. We're not hurting for offense, and have arguably the best strike force in Italy already. There's plenty of options, like Huntelaar, Gomez and several others.
very good post  I think many people forget that amauri has been a looser for most of his career until he struck gold at Palermo. So I think 25 mil is ridiculous, giovinco and or marchisio is stupidity out of this world. We should forget dealing with these clowns who believe that amauri is on the same level as pele, there are better options elsewhere

Nocerino + co-ownership of Criscito + cash is my guess. With Barzagli and Zaccardo possibly leaving, they will need another defender.

Great post mate!!

It annoys me when we get people like Gigli in the press saying that we are signing champions and then names Amauri.

For me Amauri is a huge risk, the guy hasn't had the smoothest career only really performing in the last few seasons. He isn't young, he has no champions league or international experiance and isn't cheap.

This is not a champion, this is a big risk. Sure it could pay off but giving them over £10m and one of our youngsters is a major risk.

Like you said if they won't take our deal then walk away and get Huntelaar.

The source who gave Capello to Juve one day before it happened when every media linked us to other coaches just said that Amauri/agent wants $$$ and he'll go to the club(Milan) that offers more while Palermo wants him to go to Juve because he'll get some good youngsters in return + $$$.

well i could have told you that before already... The agent's only goal is to make as much cash out of it as possible. This is not a question of perspective or something, this will probably be the last contract amauri will sign and the agent wants make the best out of it. but in this case, i think palermo have something to say too, and if they want amauri to come to juve, they'll get that.

To all the things going on in general; Don't you see how wicked and well played (for palermo) this is?! It's clearly their strategy. One day, they say like if he was ours, the next day they say "we want giovinco in exchange". They're so playing with the media, and (as we see in the reaction in the forums) people fall for it. Foschi does what he needs to do, and he does it well; he puts pressure on us. I'm pretty sure we're far away from those 98% already secured, but we're also far away from loosing him or from milan snapping him away. It's just media bullocks. By saying things like the giovinco-thing, foschi is putting the pressure upon juve, because everyone knows now, that amauri IS a target of juve, and they can't really let him slip through our hands. I'm glad OUR BOARD didn't comment too much lately on the whole amauri-deal, and honestly, i hope they keep it quiet until it's in the bag. What would be good now would be gigli or someone coming up and ending all this bullshit by saying something like 'if giovinco is requested, we don't want amauri'. But even if that's not gonna happen, i'm all relaxed. I sit back and watch this idiot foschi and zamparini shooting their phrases, and i do believe that in the end, we'll be the ones laughing.

I just hope some announcement is going to be made soon, because all this is starting to get on my nerves really.
