I don't agree with your POV.
Naturally, but this is not the essence of dialogue...

The way I see things, we had a great season with only a decent squad and a coach. We are recovering financially and if things go well in the market, we will have a respectable squad. Not so good for CL but for Serie A pretty competitive.

We can be a powerhouse again in 2-3 years.
Thats exactly my POV too, i m only saying we can do even better than that if we make the wise choices, but if we keep risking like that, we might end up 4th next year...
This year we did better than expected, i had realistic hopes, i didnt expected for more, but we were lucky to be were we are after so many mistakes, thankfully our rivals did more, kudos to them!!
We can only improve from here and become more efficient.
I will also remind that, next year we will be playing in Europe and the standards dont drop as they did in Italy.
If we keep wasting our money as we did this year, our team wont be more competitive and we wont be able to bounce back in 2-3 years, (unless of course our opponents deteriorate pretty fast) We need to make the right choices for the future and build up a strong team.I dont expect miracles, but i dont want to see us wasting our chances either!

If Secco fails once again, he will be replaced. I don't know what's all the fuss about? But I guess you and lots of others severely lack patience.
Secco already was proved, "not good enough for the job",
there are other reasons that he is still here, those reasons wont be easily changed, no matter if he fails one more time...

Giovinco stalls Amauri move

While Palermo request Sebastian Giovinco as part of the transfer, Amauri suddenly announces he might not join Juventus after all!

This week President Maurizio Zamparini dubbed Amauri “98 per cent a Juve player” and the striker has not disguised his intention to join the Champions League competitors next season.

The only hold-up has been between the two clubs, as the Rosanero are officially demanding Under-21 starlet Giovinco – currently on loan at Empoli – in a co-ownership deal.

“Amauri is in charge of his future,” explained director of sport Rino Foschi. “We will try to make him happy and have met with Juventus. There is no agreement yet, although it won’t be difficult to reach one.

“Clearly Giovinco is among our top choices in the transfer, but it’s up to Juventus to sell 50 per cent of his contract so that he can play first team football. Another alternative is Antonio Nocerino.”

However, this evening Amauri sensationally put a stop to any negotiations with a shock announcement.

“It’s not certain I am leaving this season. At the end of the campaign I will talk to Zamparini and he’ll set out his plans.

“Having said that, I think the great project to reach the Champions League should have been founded last year. That is my greatest regret, not being able to take this team to the Champions League.”

Nonetheless, this Sunday’s clash with Sampdoria is likely to be his last in a Palermo shirt at the Stadio Barbera and as thanks for his hard work he could be given the captain’s armband.

“It would be wonderful and fill me with pride, but it’s a delicate situation and I’ll talk to Andrea Barzagli about it during the week. As well as being the captain, he is my friend.”

Ranieri already made it clear that he wants and is relying on Giovinco.

Giovinco has made it clear that he is determined to play for Juve next season.

Secco has even said he's coming.

There is likely a place for him in the starting eleven, seeing as Nedved is either retiring, or moving to a less active role.

If Palermo is insistent on Giovinco, its not going to happen. I think its BS anyway.

It'll be Nocerino, Lanzafame and some money.

I will be proven wrong again but it seems to me that the Amauri deal is down the drain. Some club is disturbing the ambiance and offering him more $$$. Guess the team...

that's what I think but this ain't the Moggi so there's some doubts. I still believe we're getting KJH and maybe another forward(Gomis) if Iaquinta leaves. I don't want him to though.

This really does seem ridiculous though.

I like Amauri, but lets be real honest... he is an above average striker who is unproven in Europe, uncapped internationally, and is a relatively late bloomer. Why is Juventus treating his transfer like this is Aguero, Ronaldinho or Cristiano Ronaldo? They shouldn't be dictating terms like demanding at least two of our top young players, plus a significant cash component all while dragging their heels.

If Palermo won't take Nocerino and a maximum of 15m Euro, then walk away. We're not hurting for offense, and have arguably the best strike force in Italy already. There's plenty of options, like Huntelaar, Gomez and several others.

Just dont put KJH on yr avtar and we`ll be fine.......scarily the jinx worked on flamini also....lol!

:(

anyway, one article says Foschi wants $$$ Nocerino AND Giovinco. Another says cash Nocerino OR Giovinco.

If it's 12m + Nocerino then it can be done.

Can't blame Palermo really. If you were in their position and dealing with someone (Secco) completely out of their depth, you'd try it on on too.
