  • Giovinco + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + Giovinco

  • Nocerino + Almiron + Marchionni

  • Almiron + Marchionni + cash

Ranieri knows football. By this i mean that Ranieri can spot a great talent. We can doubt his tactics or his winning mentality, but i think the guy has proven himself as someone who has the nose for talents.

On the other hand we have our BOD and if i'm not wrong all of them are people who don't have much experience in football (unlike the guys from our previous board where Moggi was an ex-scout while Bettega was a great player himself).
So, it's understandable if they make few mistakes here and there but what they mustn't do is doing things on their own, without asking our coach and our scouts for advice.
Yeah:agree: i don't like the way it works here the manager should choose what players he wants and what he wants to do with the players he already has, look what happened with riquelme when he went to barca.

^ I know it's not the way it should work, Secco isn't the manager and won't choose who to play but apparantly they have quite a good understanding and level of co-operation with each other

Ironic given that a lack of co-operation on transfers contributed to Deschamps leaving.

i'm pretty sure giving away giovino for amauri was never in discussion. I bet there was nothing with vetoeing or anything else... but it doesn't matter, giovinco is on his way to turin (apparently, his manager said it)

In short:

The negotiations between Palermo and Juventus for passage of Amauri 27 old Brazilian bomber to the bianconero are on hold. How the Gazette dello Sport is suggesting ,the Sicilian president would have asked for technical compensation, the whole label of Nocerino and the half of the young Lanzafame-he is on his way to Siena for the next season.
Seen the refusal of Palladino, Sergio Almiron could be introduced in the negotiation, even if Zamparini already made know that the Argentinian does not interest him, the same goes for Mark Marchionni. Without compensation, the price for Amauri is set to 25m€....

well I wouldn't want to spend that much and we better not give in and give them giovinco, marchisio ect.
If Zampa askd for Nocerino, don't think that we are going to give Marchisio away...The problem is (i think) the asking of half of Lanzafame + 15m€ (IMO to much)...

if this deal really must go through then i would settle for something like this,i would give marchionni,10-15 million euro max,and the loan of lanzafame..cos i really see potential in this guy,cos he can be valuable, even if he would never play for juve,in the future he could cost a lot more..

Juve Want To Sign Amauri – Zampa Confirms

If it wasn’t already common knowledge, Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has revealed that Juventus have approached him about signing Amauri.

The Brazilian striker is regarded as one of Serie A’s top strikers and he was Juve’s nemesis at the weekend, scoring twice in Palermo’s 3-2 win at the Stadio Barbera.

The 27-year-old has been promised that he will be allowed to leave Sicily in the summer in order to join a big club, and Juventus are currently the overwhelming favourites to snap him up.

"I had a request from Juventus about talks regarding Amauri,” said the fiery Zamparini. “We will meet before the end of the championship.

"I have not asked any Italian team to make an offer. I have received interest from two foreign teams, Real Madrid and Barcelona, and also from British teams, but there is a problem because Amauri is still waiting for his European passport."

Juventus had reportedly come to an agreement with Palermo to sign Amauri for €15m, plus young starlets Sebastian Giovinco, Paolo De Ceglie and Claudio Marchisio.

However Claudio Ranieri vetoed the deal at the last minute, meaning that other possible part-exchange players are now being considered, including the likes of Antonio Nocerino, Domenico Criscito and Marco Marchionni.

Hmmm, so Ranieri vetoed the deal because he doesn't want us to lose Giovinco, Marchisio and De Ceglie.

I guess praising Ranieri is in order.
i saw that piece of news before and now i see it again. Seriously if thats true then its really scary. Secco can't be left to operate on his own, who in his right mind could actually do this ? These three are some of the biggest prospects in all of italy and regulars for both clubs and u-21. What more does he need to convince him ?

ranieri gets credit here , and he will get more credit once he takes secco to the backroom and kicks his ass.

If all true, well its not only Secco, but also whole BOD, as all of them wanted to give our young talents and that is very scary actually..

That was exactly my issues with this board. They are not experienced enough with football.Between all three the most experienced is Secco ffs.

Secco already made the odd mistakes and apparently he hasn't learned.
That's how I see it.

Just malicious anti-Secco rumours.
I really hope so.

15m € + Sebastian Giovinco, Paolo De Ceglie and Claudio Marchisio??? OMG!!!

Seriously, they really want to part with everything linked to the old board. I read today that youth coach Chiarenza(big part of the Primavera success) will leave at the end of the season because he doesn't see eye to eye with those buffoons we have as management.

f*ck man, don't they know you'll need 4-5 players from the Primavera to be in Europe?

Normally I would say it's media BS but I don't trust the f*ckers who control the team.

No fucking way I would pay that for Amauri.
He is good, a classy striker, Serie a Drogba, but Giovinco, De Cieglie and Marchisio? no way, those youngsters are the future of our team. They have shown that.

Amauri to Juve - An agreement to be made on Tuesday

Corriere dello Sport
agreement on 13 mio + nocerino + marchionni
(also corriere)

Well he was not cheap but in the end... not such a bad deal considering that we don't need those two players... only the 13mio are a bit too much imo. 10 would have done it too. But hey, if he scores 20 goals for us next season i'll be fine. I'm pretty sure this one is sealed up but let's wait for the official announcement... all in all a decent deal i'd say. not the superstar we all hoped for but it's ok
