At what cost would you be ok with Amauri?

  • Giovinco + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + Giovinco

  • Nocerino + Almiron + Marchionni

  • Almiron + Marchionni + cash

  • Fuck no, don't want him at all

fucking hell, I have a bad feeling we're going to waste all our money on amauri. Which would leave iaquinta where? #4 striker?
It's just going to be more competitive, thats it. Couple of years ago we had Alex, Trez, Ibra, Mutu, and Zalayeta so what's the big deal? Four of them are worldclass players and everything was fine, everyone got their playing time. It's like that at every big club.

I have been reluctant on signing Amauri mainly for the prize only (totally overrated if its inflated prices) and not wanting to divert or vital limited funds, but if that very reasonable and cheap proposition is true, Its criminal to say no to it. Its like signing Iaquinta for 10m plus little of Paolucci as we did, except Amauri is better then Iaquinta.

Extra coup if its really for the useless Nocerino, Palla has little hope of turning good atleast, though he would have to be loaned out if Amauri comes.

Latest rumor which is more reasonable is 10m € + Nocerino OR Palladino. Palladino doesn't seem to want to go to Palermo while Zamparini would really like Nocerino.

DP and Amauri played in a friendly game for some players who retired or something.

"Playing with Del Piero was pure fun, it was an honor playing with him"
Well, mission accomplished. We can sign him now:D

I'm actually for his signing, unless it would be at the expense of some super hot youngster like Aguero, Rossi etc., who were probably never in our sights anyway. But although he may be better technically than Iaquinta, Iaquinta has proven to be a warrior in our shirt. Moggi said that he doesn't see Amauri as a champion, we'll have to see if he will prove Moggi wrong.

but we already have competition at that position and with giovinco coming there would almost be no room for him. The big deal is why do we need more competition at a position where we already have enough competition? Let's add some depth at other positions before we add depth at a position were we're already set.

Plus, I don't want to give anyway giovinco, marchisio, or De cegile and I'm afraid secco might be stupid enough to do that.

10 million + palladino sounds like a good deal.

Aye, people seem to forget this. We were in CL back then and a team of our caliber should be able to boast such attacking options. We are Juventus ffs.

edit: I didn't mean at signing Amauri, but at another striker in general.

I am 100% against the Amauri move! First off he is way to expensive for our current budget situation. Next we need to be investing our small transfer budget wisely and our strikers right now are the least of our worries, we need defensive and midfield cover. I am for us purchasing another forward but he should be somebody who is younger and much less expensive who would be OK with a role on the bench. The thing that scares me the most is Secco's idea of trading youth talent for him as well. I think Ranieri should recall De Ceglie, Giovinco, and Marchisio next term as it would give us a much better LB, some central midfield depth and a talented young creative outlet to play behind our forwards or on the wing while saving bundles of cash because we don't actually have to buy anybody!
Who needs Van der Fart when you have Seba? The simplest solution to our current transfer problem is already owned by Juventus but Secco is to stupid to notice. With the money we would save from recalling three players we could spend on a decent backup striker or a young promising forward (would love G. Rossi but it won't happen), a world class defender and then add more depth to the midfield and defence.

Watch the strike partnership of Amauri-Del Piero! The new Juve pair play together in a friendly in Padua

    Real derail Amauri's Juve switch?

Palermo striking star Amauri has revealed that he is hoping for a summer move to Juventus, but Real Madrid may have other ideas.

The Brazilian hitman has been at the top of the Old Lady’s shopping list for months and cemented his position by hitting a brace against Juve on Sunday evening.

Bianconeri sporting director Alessio Secco has reportedly been in talks with Rosanero President Maurizio Zamparini as the clubs look to set a fee and Amauri is hoping a deal can be agreed.

The two men played as a strike partnership in a friendly match in honour of former Palermo and Juventus man Pippo Maneiro last night and gave a possible glimpse of the future.

“Alessandro Del Piero is a champion and playing alongside him is an honour,” Amauri said on Sky Sport Italia.

“Both David Trezeguet and Del Piero are world class strikers and it’s any player’s dream to play on their team – why can’t it be my dream too?

“There have been rumours about a move, but we will see what happens in the end.

“I am happy with what I have been doing and any footballer would be honoured to play for Juve.

However, it seems that the 27-year-old’s talent has brought him to the attention of Spanish champions Real Madrid.

According to Italian sources, the Merengues are ready to step in with an offer of around £16m – a sum that Juve couldn’t match – as they search for Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s successor.

It has been suggested that the Turin giants may have to make a part-exchange offer involving the loan of Azzurrini talent Sebastian Giovinco and full rights to midfielder Marco Marchionni.

I dont get it.....why people dont like Amauri or dont want him here i havnt watched him so i cannot comment on his ability.I did happen to watch the Palermo game and his first goal was just pure class his technique on the ball is very impressive but people dont seem to want him.About Hunterlaar yes great scoring record in the dutch league but cmon......Georgio Samaras had a very good scoring record there and look at him in the Premeir League 25m for Hunterlaar is overpriced imo.
