At what cost would you be ok with Amauri?

  • Giovinco + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + Giovinco

  • Nocerino + Almiron + Marchionni

  • Almiron + Marchionni + cash

  • Fuck no, don't want him at all

  • Almiron+cash

Even if Ranieri were to use a 4-3-3, the front three cant be DP, Trez and Amauri imo. who are you going to stick on the wings??
I don't see why DP, Trez and Amauri couldn't be the front three. Ranieri played DP in support of Trez and Iaquinta a few times and it worked well.

Yeah, you would need Giovinco or Camo to play as wing forwards
That would work, but then whats the point of buying Amauri in that case?
Ale and Amauri behind Trez...kinda like the away game at Roma...Ale naturally operates more on the left side anyway
what about the right?? your going to need fullbacks with good enough attacking ability for that formation to work anyway, which poses another problem. Imo a 4-3-3 will just create more problems.

yea I know I mentioned that in an earlier post...I think Zebina gets forward enough but we need a better LB for 4-3-3

We will try 4-3-3 at times, but I dont think it will be a our usual formation, and IMO it shouldnt be either. Its good for the counter attacks, and few top games to try something new, but dont think it will be smooth enough to make it work weekly. Dont see them co-existing in the same line-up.

another twist in the Amauri saga.
This an OLD article they recycled. You cant be that easily duped. There is no issue with this deal at all. It wouldnt have been in the stage of medical check up if there were.

Guys, i was thinking (for a change :D) and i realized this :

We're buying Amauri for 12m eur (i'm counting only the money payed)
Lets say we buy Alonso for 18m. It's rumoured that we're selling Tiago, Almiron and Marchionni (+the 1.7m we got for Blasi) in order to finance these 18m.
We're most probably buying a LB. The one rumoured to join us is Grosso who won't cost more than 6m (Lyon payed 7m last year, if i'm not wrong).
If we buy a LB we're probably selling Criscito. We're asking for 5.6m eur while Genoa offer 3m eur. Probably we'll find the mutually acceptable price at 4m

    So :
    Amauri 12m+ Alonso 18m+Grosso 6m = 36m
    Tiago+Almiron+Marchionni+Blasi = 18M + Criscito 4m = 22m eur

    The difference is 14m eur.

So basically, we're spending only 14m euro on this mercato.
If we sell Palladino or Iaquinta then it will mean that we're spending only 5m euro.

So, are we cheap, we don't have money, or are we going to sign few more players (or a superstar CB) ?

I posted an article which said that Juve don't want to sell Criscito and he is going to return here next year. Also Moretti of Valencia is a target as LB

that last sentence gives me hope alen,14million is not so much for a club our size but we have to hope that we can offload these players for a good price first
