Not to mention, while Dybala was brilliant in Serie A, he struggled a lot in the CL.

Morata was definitely superior in the CL. As far as CL performers amongst our forwards it went:

1) Morata
2) Mandzu
3)Dybala
4) Zaza

Morata and Mandzu were significantly better than Dybala in that competition.

He will replace Cuadrado i think...
kind of, but even though they can both play as a right winger, they are pretty different players. cuadrado was always comfortable in a wingback role of our 3-5-2, i can't see berardi doing that. also, berardi can play as a striker, and according to an allegri interview from last summer, max might use him as a trequartista. anyway, he'll be our only 'natural' winger next season.

I think we have to consider the fact that no team outside of the EPL and perhaps PSG as an exception will pay 65m for Morata. We fall outside that category, and I don't think the deal would go through if Madrid stick to their price. Player will could help bring that price down by a bit, but I could easily see Morata have a stable value along the lines of 45m across Europe - and we would be willing to go close to or hitting that figure. Anything above that is unrealistic as far as our market capabilities go, even factoring in the 20m we have already spent, which will be invisible this window, but still. At 65m no way this deal happens for us, no matter how much Beppe talks about doing the impossible for Morata.

Problem is we don't know how Marchisio is going to recover from his injury, and Khedira is Il Nuovo Arjen Robben. I don't expect to see Khedira-Marchisio-Pogba with their injury woes, and that's probably where Pjanic is going to be getting a lot of minutes as well. Kovacic is obviously being bought if true, for that very possibility from the way I see it. A signing like Gomes would make a lot of sense in this scenario seeing his versatility and just as importantly his mobility. I'm not sure I think zPjanic is mobile enough to implement the Juve game as CM. AM definitely, but I'd like to see how the board deal with this one.

Pjanic never plays as an AM for Roma. He hasn't for 3 years now, ever since the Garcia era began. And he's far more mobile than you are suggesting. The problem with Pjanic is laziness and inconsistency, although both seem to be a matter of lacking motivation with him. I doubt that would be the case here at Juventus.

Morata is worth 65M in today's market, specially if you consider pounds.

It's his top price. I believe his worth is around 50-65M. Madrid will very likely sell for something like this.

So, Marotta would have to pay around 30M to keep him. Is it worth it? To me, yes. Absolutely.

I still believe that if Marotta really really wants him, and is willing to pay 30M + 5M net + bonus, Morata may very well stay.

I absolutely think he's worth it. This would be a great decision.

Na, as much as I like him, I think he's a bit more static than you'd want to see in that dynamic Juve midfield. If we buy him, and I hope we do, I'd also hope alongside that he's being bought with the primary purpose of playing AM, where he would excel, in our set-up despite his lazy and inconsistent ways.

I love the guy, but Morata is seriously overvalued in here. If he was playing for any other team you'd never rate him as a 65 million player.

Yep.He'll always be in my heart for the amazing moments he gave us but people are speaking from their heart and not from their
mind.
65m is outrageous for a club like Juventus that doesnt have money like oil clubs to burn.

35M or whatever it takes should be spent on players that would walk into our starting lineup like Pjanic.

We will have paid 55 mil if the deal goes through. Secondly, we will have the payment split into 20mil and 35mil with a gap of 2 years.

If the deal won't happen good luck finding a replacement. Pushing the price down would be nice but I wouldn't fuck around for too long. Negotiation partners have proven to be allergic to Beppe's 3-month sagas

We'd lose 65 million of money to spend on other objectives
