The guy hasn't even reached his potential yet. A full year playing with Pogba, Dybala, Sandro, Alves, and maybe someone like Pjanic he can have a breakout year in Italy and CL. If we can get him for 30-35 million right now we shouldn't pass this opportunity up. He will easily be worth 75-80 million in a couple of years if he reaches his potential.

Who would you replace him with for 65M?
no 65m! we can buy a good forward with something between 30m to 45m
berardi or cavani would be that player if we are going to buy a reliable forward who has good finisher. Either get a great deal out of it or stop messing with positions we already have secured.

for €65m? what? we won't spend that on 1 striker. also there is no need to spend that big.

Mandzu - Dybala is as good as it get's. just bring in Berardi for ≈ €20m, and maybe a young prospect like Ikone and i'm ok with it.

just imagine Beppe signing a 23 year old with Morata's stats for combined €65m
Tuz to implode once again.

that's the best possible outcome. but what if he stagnates?
There are no guarantees. But based on his age and what he has shown so far in his two year with us, we have to take that chance. We can't ignore what he has done in all the big matches in the last couple of years. And I am not just talking about goals. Those assists and runs he made in counterattacks against Bayern were pure class.

Berardi is good, but we need him on top of the current team, not at the expense of someone. We lack firepower from the bench especially with Cuadrado gone, so 4 strikers (the current ones preferably) + Berardi is needed. Add in Kovacic on a loan deal and eventually one midfielder if we manage to sell Hernanes, Asamoah and Pereyra and the team is complete. If we lose Morata however we are gonna need an additional attacking player and I don't see anyone as good or better available for 50M or less

Cavani will stay at PSG, Berardi is already bought. But we need another one

can't remember Juventus playing against Dortmund or Madrid last season. :boh:

he's no way near a ≈ €60m striker.

if we pay that price and people are ok with it they should stop laughing about EPL transfers.
His tally in some our biggest games:

City 1
Sevilla 1
inter 4
Milan 2
Dortmund 2
Real 2
Barca 1

Clutch af. Our clutchest player except maybe after Buffon

 :howler: I'm sure PSG will do everything in their power to offload Cavani to us, of all teams, for a reasonable price. Oh, and Berardi is nowhere near ready or good enough to replace Morata. He is an exciting talent, but his temperament is an issue.

did you also count the hilariously funny missed chances causing us to play Bayern after the group stages?
Alright genius. Who would you rather have instead of Morata? Are you happy with Zaza being our 3'rd choice striker?

Exactly.
100%.

He's clutch,i want him to stay,i think he's good, young, and MAY still get better.

But common 65M? fuck no that's too much.
Take that 30M.
Cavani,Lacazette,Batshuayi and maybe even Lukaku all will cost less.
And even if not.it's way too much.

so you want 5 strikers? who is gonna be the benchwarmer? how often will he play?
the 5th striker is eather a young gun (wasting his time on the bench) or someone like Boriello. useless signings.

Mandzu - Dybala.

Zaza - Berardi.

+ a new creative mid like Pjanic and/or Kovacic - good enough for me. also don't forget the goat Dani Alves on the right.

I wont bother with transfer fees. Just pay whatever it needed to keep Alvaro The Clutch Morata here. The guy scores in most of our big games. Priceless.

Cavani wont be sold, Lukaku is 65M atleast and not as good, Batshuayi is not as good and will cost 30M atleast, Lacazette would cost around 50M if there arent any other top clubs interested. Paying 35M for Morata is the better option definitely

Cavani will not cost less than 60 million, possibly more. Morata is definitely better than the other 3 guys you mentioned, and they'd all cost upwards of 30 million. We should pay Madrid 25 million and wrap this up. I doubt any club is going to go beyond 65 million for him, and I'm sure that 10 million gap can be bridged in terms of bonus payments and the player's will/desire to stay here.

Good job weakening our attack  I understand the hype and excitement around Berardi, but there is no guarantee that he will be anything more than a decent bench option for us. That attack is indeed good enough for Serie A, but far from sufficient to mount a serious challenge in Europe.

Yes i would have 5 attackers next season. Im not forgetting Alves, i was talking about midfield and attack. Im assuming we will use a 4 man defense more than a 352 next season if we sign Kovacic, Pjanic, Berardi. We don't need 8 midfielders, 7+ Padoin+Mandragora until Marchisio returns is enough. So instead of having 8 mids and 4 attackers, we get 7 mids and 5 attackers and have more flexibility upfront and use wingers when needed. If Morata leaves i think we will add another attacker, on top of Berardi
