Morata should think about that time this season he was on a "not scoring streak" of, what.. 1000 minutes? At Real Madrid he would have been shipped out to Castilla in the winter if that happened in the first half of the season...yet at juve he got chance after chance to break that streak resulting in a fine season (12 g 12 a.. Better than mandzu if you look at just that)

Ah.. Found it.. The streak was from October till January.. Serie a and CL I think

Morata is not a sub here, he is developing and this season you can see easily his progress. As @Post Ironic mentioned it is much more to do with Dybala and our gameplan. Dybala, for all his qualities, is not the guy who would tire the defense line (like Tevez) and needs a forward who is more of a workhorse - welcome Mandzukic.
Once Morata gets his work-rate higher and becomes more effective in the box him and Dybala would be a dream-team in both 2 and 3 forward setups. Keeping him is a must.

I don't think it will super clearcut... We'll see lots of rotation again.

The thing is, Mandzu is a player that suits Dybala's playing style better. Whereas Morata is more of a hybrid CF-SS... It's why his assist numbers were so high, and why it was so frequent that Allegri sub'd Morata on for Dybala, and started Mandzu-Morata together at times both in the 4-3-3 early in the season and the 3-5-2 later. Mandzu-Morata, and Morata-Zaza with Morata playing off a main CF always looked quite good.

Morata has excellent SS characteristics, his passing and vision are surprisingly good. Whereas his goalscoring instincts aren't really all that good yet, at least not in Serie A with the defensive style and packed box. He's an interesting forward that way. He's actually a very good SS in Serie A matches (and a mediocre CF), but an excellent CF in Champion's League.
that actually perfectly describes him

Both his and Cuadrado's performances in the CL this season justify hanging onto both. Morata for an extra 20-25 or Lukaku, Batsushayi, or even Cavani for 40-50 million? It's a no brainer for me. Morata is going to be a WC froward in 2 years.

Why is everyone so bothered. There is plenty of game time for everyone as we are forever in the running for 3 trophies. The only one who should be upset is probably zaza who is too good for a 4th choice but hey when you join one of the best teams in the world competition is tough, they know what they are in for.

Benteke :lol2:

The guy who cant hit an open net should be replacement for mr. clutch, the guy who scored some of the most important goals in the last 2 seasons. Insanity.

Offer whatever needs to be offered and retain his services. Top player, mentally he's miles above the likes of Higuain. Nerves of steel.

The problem is you're focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. I think the next time you should ask yourself "Am I on the right track here?". I don't mean to be rude but people like you I really pity. So maybe you could use the few brain cells you have and take advantage of the knowledge I have given you now. Good luck

The fact is if Zidane wants him money won't do anything for us in keeping him, not that amount anyway which is chump-change for RM...so id rather get RM attention and pay 40m extra to have any kind of power to hold Morata here than gamble on bringing the likes of Cavani who isn't even worth more than 25m realistically..and benteke at Juve? I rather have grandpa Trez in suit and tie and burberry velvet loafers than that fawk

If RM buyback him and then sold him in 50m to Arsenal. Who r u gonna hate more? The guy who said "I want to stay" or the one who said "we gonna do everything to keep him here".

I love Morata so much that I have no choice to change It for hate. I would feel fucking betraye

Note: if u dont like 50. Put 60+. Whatever you like.

If neither one of those two have much of a say as to what Real Madrid does, then why would you hate either one?
