Morata is big on playing time. Real can't keep him as a sub. They want to flip him. And Morata will leave if he thinks he won't get regular playing time next season.

If Real has a 50m offer for Morata and has to pay us 30m to flip him, Real should happily accept 25m from us. It's all down to Morata.

Pretty sure Marotta wants Cavani + Morata and wants to sell Mandzukic. That's a very difficult objective of course.

Signing a striker like Cavani is a priority though. Every top team needs a 20-league-goals CF. Cavani scores 25. Morata and Mandzukic are 10- and 15-goal strikers.

Morata is our current "Bello di Notte" and has the potential to be WC. So, we've to try and keep him too.
You talk about Morata being big on playing time yet you go on to post about the management wanting Morata + Cavani ? You realize that will limit Morata's playing time even more right ?
Cavani on top of Morata is pure fantasy.

Morata and the mgmt are different people. They want diff things.

I think that's the objective and should be the objective. Succeeding in achieving that objective is close to fantasy.

Same things I said in the post you quoted.

My dream set up would be morata plus cavani. But I think its very unrealisticn and thhe only way we will try to sign cavani will be with moratas money, which sems increasingly gone with everyday passing.

The clause in his contract was to ensure we returned him after we trained him. It was always that way and real madrid will not accept our offer because they never wanted to sell him to us in first place. Never forget tjat little detail.

how do you know about that?
if you were guessing, you can not say "pretty sure"

From a financial & logical point of view, selling mandzu to keep Morata and bring in Cavani is farfetched:
a) Dybala, Cavani, Morata all would want to start, when in our current formation only 2 could.
b) Financially its suicidal, Pogba is apparently getting a boost from 4.5m to 6m should he agree to extend, then there's the midfielder we need & maybe even a trequartista. Let's not forget the Berardi option.

Cavani to Juve is plausible if Madrid decide to activate their buy-back clause on Morata.

Don't forget that Morata also has a say.

That's what I do. I know things.

Don't see why Morata would even be open to leaving to a lesser EPL team unless Marotta is attempting to sign Cavani.

Shouldn't be a prob financially. Budget for next season should be about the same as this season's. I doubt we're getting a trequartista.

Like I said, it'll be extremely difficult to keep Morata after signing Cavani (so we're not in disagreement when you say it's far-fetched; Morata is big on starting or getting enough playing time), but Cavani+Morata likely is the objective, one that makes perfect sense to me. You need a 20+ league goal-scoring CF when you're a top team. Signing Cavani is more important than signing a dedicated AM.

Yep pretty sure Morata has only two viable options in his head: staying at Juve & starting at Real Madrid.

It's very hard predict what our moves will be on the transfer market, especially with so many unknowns and chaotic variables such as the Cuadrado & Morata situations. Ideally, Cavani-Morata-Dybala would be a formidable striker force to have, only question is: what happens to Mandzukic & Zaza?

Mandzukic strikes me as a player who'd be happy to play a rotational part, while Zaza appears to be itching for starting time, something he will not be getting at Juventus as he is currently 4th choice and for a reason (not saying he's bad, but rather the other three are better). I could see us sending Zaza out if he does not want to be 4th option as it would benefit both parties. Mandzukic however, I'm not sure if he'd have any bidders, how much of his value will we be able to recover?

Surely we'd be selling Mandzukic if we were to have Morata-Cavani-Dybala though.

Dybala, Cavani, Morata, Berardi

Sell Mandzukic, Zaza

I believe that's the hard-to-achieve goal.

More likely to end up being Dybala, Cavani (Morata), Mandzukic, Berardi (Lapadula).

Thing about Berardi is he's also very big on playing time.

That would be the ideal plan, but like you said.... a lot of things need to happen for that to be achieved, and of course is difficult as hell

im sure Mandzukic will want to leave if we get Cavani as he wouldnt be happy with being a backup. Lapadula will be either included in some deal (for Diawara maybe) or sold with a buyback option. we have no use for him at the moment. so if we get Cavani then this:

Cavani, Dybala, Berardi, Zaza/Morata

maybe if we switch to a 4312/4321 and in some unrealistic scenario where we would sign Cavani for 20M + bonuses we could afford to keep all 5. but i just cant see us getting Cavani

Dybala Cavani Berardi Zaza would be nuts.

But if selling Zaza means morata staying, then i would agree to that too, althought im pretty sure we have not seen the best of Zaza yet.
