We look like such a small club in this kinda deal. Beppe better make Cavani happen because Berardi for Morata is a very different kind of replacement. We certainly aren't climbing the rungs to throw it all away over one summer and such silly deals.

Whatever happens, please remain reasonable and don't blame the guy!
Morata? What to blame him for? He is a 3x Scudetto and 2x Coppa winner. Unless he is Juventus fan or Italian there is little reason to stay. It's not like that he has a Juventus tattoo or something. He made great steps in his development here but now it's our turn to feed the big clubs with potential WC players and go for the next prospect

Even if he had a Juve tattoo it would t mean much anyway. Arturo would vouch for it. But that said, Morata cannot be blamed for this deal. You can't blame him if he doesn't owe his allegiance to the club either. He's a Madridista at the end of the day, and his heart will always be in Madrid first, and second, where he will make money. That is the EPL.

So what is the new outrage today? What is everyone panicking about now?
No panic, but the fact the player openly talked about not just going back to Real, which is expected, but also opened the door to EPL option by saying it suits his style better, is significant enough in terms of what it means for his future with us. Its not much you can do in scenario like this except come to terms with it, the sooner we do it the better at this point.

He also said he'd love to stay here for many more years...

It's entirely dependent on whether our management view him as valuable enough to offer the 20+ mil it would require to remove the buyout clause.

If they do, and he stays, great. If he leaves we'll be fine too. I'm sure Beppe will do a great job replacing him.

And I refuse to fall for/get dragged into mindless transfer speculation in March. The same stories every international break.
