Really lol ? Morata only got to start when Mandzukic went down to injury.A fit Mandzukic is preferred ahead of Morata. Its a fact and you are being too stubborn to accept the facts.
Provided everyone is fit and healthy,Dybala and Mandzukic is preferred ahead of Morata.
Morata started the season as first choice and lost his place at some point a club like ours will always have some rotation. In fact most teams have a group of around 13-15 players who get starting minutes.

That was only in some games. There were games when everyone was fit and Morata was starting, Mandzukic and Dybala started more together when all were fit but not as much as you guys make it seem. Dybala-Mandzukic starting the last couple of games probably erased your memories of previous games

We do but that was at the time we were heavily tinkering with the formation.

Once we got settled with 3-5-2,he became first choice sub.I think Morata for his talent feels he can be starter elsewhere than being substitute to Dybala or Mandzukic.

Exactly. You simply dont have a fixed formation at top clubs but a group of players that rotate most of the times and a bad period can get you benched easily. Doesent mean you are a sub

He was brought in to rotate but injuries to Pirlo and Vidal meant he got more minutes.A fit Pirlo,Vidal,Marchisio,Pogba were all ahead of him.
So yeah,Pereyra was a rotational option so is Morata right now.
But if a player starts more often than not he is a starter regardless of the injury situation. Marchisio for example won't be a starter for us at the start of next season but a player that plays instead of him is or will we call that player a bench player as well even though he starts? I don't get that logic at all.

As pointed out already he needs to take a step down for that to happen. If I was Morata that would feel like a failure.

Some games ? When we went on a streak of winning games before winter break,Morata was mostly on the bench. After the winter break is when he got his chance but that was mostly down to Mandzukic's and Dybala's injuries.
He's not a guaranteed starter here.We should put this debate to rest.People can feel free to disagree.

Reputation matters.Would Pereyra still be starting for Juventus had he been fit whole year ? I have my doubts. We have mostly bought in Pereyra to be a bench option.

We brought Morata initially for the bench too and one who could eventually develop into a starter but that hasnt happened this yr unfortunately.

So you will ignore the games when all were fit and Morata still started? OK, lets stop it here then

According to spanish media (AS),Alvaro decided to leave,as he's not happy with with Allegri decisions who prefers Dybala-Mandzukic as starting duo.
Time to move one i guess, grab the 30M,and get us new forward Beppe.
Its tuttosport quoting AS (which is a catalan media from what i remember?) so thats garbage news

Nobody has claimed he is a guaranteed starter. I think that more than anything sums up why it was so hard for Morata to start more games in the second part of the season, it's rarely a smart move to tinker too much with a winning team.

So you choose to believe a newspaper that makes a living on inventing mercato stories, over several quotes of player (who has an italian girlfriend), manager and coach ?

Why ?

Its gonna happen next year if he stays. Should be a full time starter by March and Mandzukic will leave after the season ends

Messi Suarez Neymar
Benzema Bayol Cristiano
Lewandowski Müller Costa

No matter how much I love Mandzu and his 'guarantees'...a key to keeping Morata is to promise him a starting position

Which games ? the ones at the start of the season ? as i said,we were heavily tinkering with the formation at the time.Morata was used as a LW.Injuries followed and he eventually lost his place after Dybala and Mandzukic developed a good understanding.
He's NOT a starter anymore. That should be clear atleast.

We started Dybala-Mandzukic in the Coppa final too, clearly preferred ahead of clutch Morata so there's no argument now.

Will he wait until then ? Thats the question

Maybe it's BS sure...but it might be the case, because i can see Morata not being happy with him being a sub here.
