once again his decision making is really bad, Pogba has the same issue but he is far better player. If those two guys would settle things in their heads we would be much better team.

Ye his decision making is absolutely shocking. He has to play as a no.9 and nothing more. He shouldn't be involved in the build up play at all.
:agree:

He's turned out to be a terrible SS... Even worse than he was playing as a LW for us in 4-3-3.

We have too many #9s... Unfortunately he's most likely to leave before being able to build a partnership with DYbala.

bring llorente back plz.

morata needs him
Nah. Morata needs Tevez. Badly. Tevez was the perfect style of partner for getting the most out of Morata, a player to do all the dirty work. Dybala doesn't have that grit and ferocity to his game, so him and Morata together is lacking that energy. That's why Mandzu-Dybala looks so good.

Morata is too soft to play with another mostly skill type SS like Dybala. And playing with Zaza and Mandzu is very hit or miss because it turns him into an SS.

Silly statement.

Most players thrive more in certain setups with specific types of teammates.

It's not like Morata has scored 0 goals this year. He has 8 goals-6 assists. However, he clearly missed playing with a Tevez Style forward. Will he be able to overcome this? Maybe. He's shown flashes, but needs to consistently be more intelligent with the ball, and not get all flustered dribbling with it at his feet. He has constantly run straight into defenders this year and lost the ball.
