I think you're probably not going to want to compare Álvaro to Messi, totally different players.

I love Álvaro, but he's got lots to work on (which is no surprise, given his age). Pazienza, for sure.
Totally different players much in the same way that Ronaldo (original) and Messi are different players, but in terms of inert quality/potential/talent, not totally different. Agreed, must work harder in gym, but also must be given confidence.

I think in terms of innate quality, Messi is a whole different ball game. But I do think that if he keeps working hard, and stays humble, Álvaro can be one of the best strikers in Europe.

Back in 2012, when I was BEGGING everyone to start a movement to let go of Conti so we can bring on Allegri, everyone laughed and said I was insane or a troll. When Tevez left, and I was filled with joy and happiness because I knew it meant Dybala would come on and be our star this year, everyone said I was insane or a troll. I stand before you today, saying Morata will be one of the best players in the world over the next 6 years, and I fully expect you to say I am insane or a troll.

In other cultures, they call my kind 'visionary'.

Morata was so damn good today. Even at the start, the hold-up play and pass to spring Asamoah... the dribble and absolutely perfect cross that Mandzu should have buried. And then the 1-2 with Cuadrado that led to the penalty. Perfect match. He easily could have had 3 goals-2 assists in this match. :D

Extremely happy for him. Morata is such a hard-working machine and very caring for his teammates, he values 'the team' much more than he values himself and that is what a Juve player should be all about.
