we dont matuzalem,if we didnt get emerson then matuzalem it is
Whether we get Emerson or not, Matuzalem is not Juve quality. I'd much rather we try to develope Brighi and Blasi or get Pedretti than bring in Matuzalem.

emerson is a long shot, but obviously a player that is needed. people forget that our defence has crap this season, but a small portion of that is down to our midfield as well. Tacchinardi hasnt been that good and Appiah hasnt performed well either. So its just not all about fixing our defence. we can have mexes and ferrari as our centre backs next season, but if we continue with tacchinardi and say appiah as DMs, then we may still have a problem.

Emerson would be ideal, a world class player that would be an upgrade to tacchinardi. Maresca alongside him would top the cake. But Matuzalem is just a waste in my opinion. i also would rather blasi or brighi, especially as we are struggling for money. Even Renato would be better on a free. Pedretti, obviously better than Matuzalem.

but i think we cant afford to just focus on the DM side, only one or two good additions are needed there. Bringing in a creative midfielder is crucial also.

I agree with you 100%. Emerson would be a key buy, as well as Mexes and Ferrari. We need that creative midfield destroyer that we have been lacking since Davids left, and Emerson IMO is the only player who could fit the bill.

It is an obvious fact that we need another creative midfielder. If Nedved stays for another year, I think Moggi should get Fiore as a right sided playmaker. Stefano would be a good buy, and he could come for a rather small fee compared to some other players. He could add a lot of creativity to a midfield that is lacking some. Of course if Nedved leaves, Rosicky or van der Vaart should be persued.

Emerson would be a good buy but his coming here is unlikely, no? Matuzalem is just average and won't add anything to the Juve squad. a MAJOR WASTE. Please no Blasi. Brighi and Pedretti would be fine though

Okay, so a creative mid., Emerson and some defenders........... we are not Real! Emerson would come too expensive! I would wonder if we really get him.
I think Tacchinardi and Maresca would make a good central mid.
Lippi never really tried that out, as he always prefered Appiah!

Apparently Mutazalem will be signed as a replacement to Tudor who will be sold in the summer. But I've always seen Tudor as a central defender and not a defensive midfielder, Lippi didn't.

Emerson to Juve? After what we've done to Roma in the Davids and Legro sagas? I think not :dontcare:

And that's why Lecce have done so well this season. It's not that we don't have our own Chevanton's or Konan's or Bojinov's, we just don't utilise them. Miccoli and Maresca deserve much more playing time than they're getting.
