The Allievi Nazionali ended a tough week with a third successive defeat this afternoon in Vinovo.
After dipping against Novara last weekend and losing out to Parma in midweek, Ivano Della Morte’s young guns were again on the losing side in their meeting with Pro Vercelli.
It started well enough for the hosts though, with Moncini’s penalty separating both sides at the break. But Pro Vercelli recovered and substitute D’Angelo turned the game on its head with a quick fire double.
Della Morte will be looking for a reaction from his side when they face Torino in next Sunday’s highly-anticipated derby day showdown.
