If it's true that Sanchez is Conte's #1 option, ahead of Aguero, if it's true that Sanchez is VB's prime target for Chelsea and if it's true that he's Guardiola's prime target....there must be something more than "just a hype", as Hoori wants to present Sanchez, eh? :D

Barca can't compete with the money of Chelsea and City and that's what Udinese want.
You clearly underrate their financial power. May I remind you they just won the CL with all the money that provides plus their lucrative media deals? Yes they're in debt but it's not like they'll have to pay the whole damn thing this year.

What's strange?
I don't really know Fernando, but as VB's ex-player from Porto, isn't it normal that he's wanted by his ex coach? :)
Nah, it's normal that coach brings players with him. It's just that I watched him play and I never thought he'd sign for a top club like Chelsea this summer. I never thought he's that good and I think there are better players at Porto. I actually thought we'd get him when I said we'll miss out on Inler.

Do you think they'll pay 50 mln euro's for Sanchez?

City said they'll give all the money upfront for Sanchez also.

It's not that Barca won't be able to pay big money, but if the price hits 50 million then it's a question if Barca will want to pay that.

It all depends on how Barca view this guy. If they see him as they did with Ibra and Alves then yes I think they would go that far if they do believe this to guy to be holding the keys for a better overall team less-messi dependent maybe.

Exactly. Which is why one can't rule them out of the race, if anything they're the most probable decisions keeping in mind the player's desire.

what scares me is that sanchez's rising price will mean we'll have to pay the full buy out clause for aguero
Not if we put Tiago in the mix, but yeah if this deal goes on this far and is sealed this early in the market then by all means it will fuck up our plans not just with Aguero but any other quality player as every club would start asking for more cash ala Udine style.

I'm sceptical that there are many other bidders anyway. I bet we'll meet, offer too low an amount, offer a second time around 35m maybe with Tiago and we'll have him in 10 days.

Not being a Guru though, just that is how I would expect the negotiations to go.

Yup, that's the way it should go if we seal it before the Sanchez auction ends. Coz after that shit will hit the fan.

Looks like we're nothing more but observers in this transfer saga after Barca offered €40m and City raised it to €40m + performance-related bonuses.

I have no idea if the figures are accurate or not, but if Udinese really received these offers, then we're 100% out of the game (that's if we ever were in the game).
