Pastore scored 11 goals this year, which is only 1 less than Sanchez.
I like Pastore more too. Not to put down Sanchez, but he's been playing with Di Natale and that gives him some freedom from defenses. Their impact is amazing though. I'd say 25 is a fair price for him.

These 6 months have thrust him into the lime light. The past season's he's been a fancy winger with no end product.

I'd go as far to say I'd rather Pastore over him because atleast he's been more consistent over the past year.

The hype last season was around Pastore because he outshone Sanchez even up to Christmas Pastore was playing better than Sanchez. It's only been since January where Sanchez has really upped his game.
You're confusing hype with the amount of times he is mentioned in the press, which has obviously gone up over the last 6 months with Udinese's surge into European places, but that should take nothing away from his performance. The ability is there to see, and he would certainly be a huge asset to us on the pitch.

Sanchez is more than a promising youngster as far as I'm concerned, and if not for playing in Udine, would have received more plaudits by now. He has grown as a player and is no longer the mindless ball hog he was at the beginning of his career in Italy. Even physically you can see a difference. He has put on quite a bit of muscle, like Pato, and I'm serious when I say I hope we give him a drug test if he signs.

As for being a fancy winger with no end product, 12 goals and 6 assists suggest otherwise, although it doesn't really do him justice, as he is involved in so much of their attacking play, despite usually being harassed by 2 players.

Well I actually don't know which one I prefer. I really like Pastore's style because he reminds me a lot of Kaka, while Sanchez's athleticism and power is so impressive.

I love me some Pastore, he'd be my pick over the two. But, we need a DP heir...:nervous:

This summer's decisions are going to be dicey.

So we would buy him to be a winger? How do we know he would do better as an SS? Also, Di Natale the main reason they are in the CL, not Sanchez.

Sanchez played SS this season between midfield and Di Natale, and I would take Sanchez over Di Natale any day. Sanchez is great.
