Udinese set Sanchez price

Admirers of Alexis Sanchez will have to find at least €30m to sign the Udinese and Chile talent in the summer.

The attacking sensation, 11 goals in Serie A so far this term after his four against Palermo on Sunday, is one of the hottest properties in the peninsula.

Already associated with Inter, Chelsea, Manchester United and Barcelona, the Friuli outfit have now revealed how much they expect to get for the 23-year-old.

“English and Italian teams want him,” President Franco Soldati noted. “We’ve already received offers close to €30m.

“Which sides have made bids? I can’t tell you, but I can say that one is from England and the other Italy.”

The Serie A outfit keen on Sanchez is almost certainly Italian, European and world champions Inter.

However, any bid from the Nerazzurri is unlikely to just consist of cash. Their offer would include a financial sum and as many as two players.

Italian sources are already speculating that McDonald Mariga and Davide Santon could be included as part of any eventual deal.

Chelsea are believed to be the other club to have made a bid, even if their interest now seemingly depends on the future of Carlo Ancelotti.

Should the former Milan boss remain at Stamford Bridge then a new offer is likely to be made, but that could all change if he leaves London at the end of the season.

Do you really think somebody has offered that? It's a president trying to get the best value for a player who is certain to leave at end of the season.

I think we could offer 20-25 plus a player or two. I think they would rather do business with us and get some players in return. 30m cash is nice but I think they would do business with us.

Lol, football Italia stole this article from Corriere dello sport word for word, but they made a minor change to it. While CdS was saying that Manchester United is the English team, FI changed it to Chelsea.
And Sanchez is 22, he turned 22 only two months ago. I guess it's too much for FI to check his age instead of just seeing that he was born in 1988 and count 2011-1988= 23.
