Alex Sandro: 'Juventus want it all'
By Football Italia staff

Alex Sandro warns Juventus “want to win every competition this season and we’re working hard to achieve it.”

The Bianconeri have certainly been active on the transfer market, bringing in Miralem Pjanic, Dani Alves, Marko Pjaca, Medhi Benatia and reportedly also Napoli hitman Gonzalo Higuain.

“We want to win everything and are working hard to achieve it,” Alex Sandro told the official Juve website.

“We intend to win every competition we are taking part in.”

The wing-back was speaking after a 1-1 International Champions Cup draw with Melbourne Victory, which Juve lost on penalties.

“Physically and technically we know that we have to improve, but we are working day by day to do better in every respect. There are some good training structures here in Melbourne and the cool climate is really helping us in our pre-season preparation.”

Difficult to do well when your fullbacks are outnumbered on the wings and the buildup is so slow. Add to that no movement from our side and Lazio being disinterested. You end up with something like this, that's simple the downside of the 352. It's difficult to find better fullbacks than Alves and Sandro yet people complain. As long as the midfield remains so sluggish, the fullbacks will under perform too.
