The article has some truth in it. This year it seems that Secco will do a greatl job. He already signed Diego at a not too expensive price and is nearing towards D’Agostino. So the troubled midfield we had for ages is repaired. Now all he has to do is buy a good RB and secure Cristico and I'd consider not calling him names any more.

Adding a good player we dont need, is not necessarily means a great job!!
Adding a player, we need, that could have arrived with a smaller salary and transfer fee, doesnt means a great transfer!!

Secco promised that Criscito will be loaned without the right to buy, but we are still in risk to lose him! Losing such a promising material for 11mil would make it impossible to be replaced with a similar potential player, for the same value!
(Grosso/Dossena/Pasqual do not have that potential)

Canna+Mellberg were brought for free and they were good transfers if you see them individually, but they occupied the place someone like Felipe could have get! And we will soon end up with 3 subs (Canna,Legro,Mellberg) and just one reliable and promising starter Chiellini, to form the backbone of the future competitive Juve!! This transfer might seem good now, but it lacks vision...

Dagostino will either force Marchisio to become a sub from a starter, or he will be proved lesser than him and become his sub.
So directly, or indirectly we are signing a new sub!! An overrated, overhyped and overvalued sub. Whilst at the mean time, our real priority, the RB, will be ignored for the third consecutive season!!
Losing the other promising LB we have, along with that move, would be also unwise...:andyandbarcelona:

Losing our best goal scorer (Treze, 10 mil) for one more dribbler (Pandev/Quaq etc) and 5-10 mil more, wouldnt be a great transfer either!:shifty:

We are still a long way from calling it a successful transfer campaign.
We should know better than be impressed by that!
The excitement of new quality players will not last for a whole season,
in a month or so it will fade away and then we will have to live with our choices!!
The choices we made last year, we are also seemed attractive at the start.
But since we have ignored our problems and did not improved the quality percentage of our starter eleven, we made no real step forward...

Making some cash from the flops Tiago+Almiron and the washed up Zebi
bringing back Criscito, keeping Treze and signing an RB would make me happy!!
Signing an extra squad player like Dago, wouldnt mind me! (unless it is for a unacceptable price, one of those 3, or cash that could have bought someone as good as Melo)
Ferrara wants our transfer targets to be among us by the first week of the transfer window.
In order to have the appropriate time to make the final adjustments!
That would mean that our transfer saga will end rather sooner than expected.
Outside fans and reporters might not know that and they might not be aware of our needs and past mistakes!

They only judge by the results and WOW effect of the transfers we make!
We should know better though... Decisive days are coming for our transfer issues!

Diego is the best transfer we have made since calciopoli and he can really make us excited, but that should not cloud our judgement.
Our greatest issue as a FC, is our incompetent board! And we should not gladly tolerate them, because they are bound to repeat those mistakes soon or later...
The mistakes they made in the past were overwhelming.
Just one good transfer is not enough to erase all that!
But if they indeed manage to avoid all wrong doings this year, then we should indeed salute them as a step forward! Failing that once again and they should all be removed asap, at all costs!!

It makes sense, seeing as there are looking to be a lot of new faces. From the sounds of things after Diego and Cannavaro, we could be looking at up to three to four more players, D'Agostino, Criscito/LB, possible Trez replacement and possible RB.

I doubt July 5th is written in stone, but judging by the speed Juve seems to be going at, its probably a target to give them maximum time to gel.

Can't really rate the guy right now. He had some really horrible moves in the past but again he did some good job lately. I guess we need another summer (next summer) to really know if he did improve and got better or not.........

I'm not sure why you don't understand this when it has been pointed out time and time again. Even Ferrara himself has said that we're most likely to play a 4-3-1-2. This could, if anything, mean that D'Agostino is an indirect replacement for Camoranesi - something which you have been advocating for a while!

Besides, the only player type we lack in midfield now is a regista. D'Agostino's probably the best one available to us.

No matter what, selling Trez (32 years old) for around 15 m € is a great deal!.. I know he is a legend for us but he needs to move now!..

D'ago is a great deal even if it would mean Marchisio wont get as many games as he would without D'ago here!.. We need many midfielders in a 4-3-1-2 formation and the season is so fucking long!.. Many games will be played and we will have players out injured!

Secco has done much better already thoes 2 month that he did the last to years!..

I SAY FORZA SECCO !

As long as Criscito comes back and we get some quality replacements for Tiago and Poulsen I will be happy. I hope they sign the necessary players before the 5th also to ensure a full preseason together so Ciro can get them in sync.

I want them to sell poulsen and tiago and use that money for a starter.

Do any of the mods pay Cron to be so one way while everyone else is the other way just to make the forums more interesting? :shifty:
