What the fuck.

---

According to the Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus will renew the contract of defender Jorge Andrade.

The Bianconeri want to do so as Andrade is wanted by various other clubs, especially in Spain, even though he has always declared that he wants to remain in Turin.

The Old Lady is expected to offer him a new three-year deal to reward him for the work he has done over the last years following his unfortunate injuries.

Just recently, transfer guru Alessio Secco managed to extend the deals to some of the most promising young players of the club and this move will be welcomed by the Bianconero fans.

However, Andrade does not seem to have the best of rapports with the Juventus management who have often criticized him for being injured, amongst other things, and failing to accomplish much on the pitch.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Andrade is expected to sign the new deal in the first days of next week.

Just asking; Could he, by any chance, do a "Del Piero after the big injury"?? You know, come back after being out for a long time and still play decent games??

Ok, i admit that i saw this on Total Club Manager but still i have to ask because i dont know if that is the case in real life or is it just a very smart idea from the creator of the game; Can a player be insured in an insurance company and when he gets injured the ins. company pays his salary while he is injured???
That's what I said :lazy:

I play in a lower division in Sweden, but that's even the case with us. We're insured, and all expenses associated with any injury occurring while playing for the club is covered. Salary, I'm not sure, but it's not unlikely that the insurance company has to help out.

I can't believe so many of you fell for the Andrade article though. :p

Seriously, though, he is improving.

Whether he is improving enough to justify that contract extension is another matter...
