He has been signing Amauri, in the same year as Momo thats improvement (in general, less of Knezevics signings this season, and more Manninger like bargains). Dont like this news one bit, but its not the disaster it would have been in his first season (remember the times he wanted to to sell Chiellini? :D).

Now, the issue is mainly, having really competent top notch management peeps to keep him in check, and that the club in general get more ambitious, so this mofo can really go after real quality players (been obvious he has been gunning for Diego for 2 years, with Ranieri his main obstacle). Would like it if they started this ambition with getting a new and better coach, someone who isnt bit simpleminded.

Secco is competent enough, but I think this summer is crucial, he has to bring the right players in.

Last summer fair enough we didn't have the money to really compete for big players, Almiron was a flop and the jury is still out on Tiago but the others were variable levels of success.

Now with the extra CL revenue and exposure he has to step it up and notch and pull in two world class players, and I don't mean of the level of Poulsen and Mellberg.

I think the policy of kids with champions is a good one but if you don't get the champions in you end up with kids and chumps and Juventus will not return to the top level we were used to for several more years.

without knowing the exact story, cause not everything you read is correct, his biggest mistake was not paying an extra 2mil to sign alonso
But not paying those 2m extra is a good thing. We could afford Poulsen and Knezevic. Just think about how lonely Andrade must have felt if he didn't have anyone to do wheelchair races with :(
