Oh, trust me, I have seen a lot more change then that ;).
That's what I asked you to explain.

Please go ahead and tell me what is it that you saw in Juventus that made you love them and how are they turning to be the opposite. This is what I would like to hear.

a) The position Del Piero took in the team. The fact Del Piero has become less important to Juventus isn't such an issue per se, even though I am of course a massive Del Piero fan, but it illustrates how we are giving up on technique, skill and intelligent football.

b) The management. Renowned for getting clean in the late nineties, tainted and even worse than the ones before them anno 2006

c) The coach, most obviously.

d) The lack of style and the way we're getting more vulgar by the minute. Juve used to be a club that was all about class. Our stripes represented something.

a) Del Piero is getting old. I am still glad I see him on the pitch. He is still there and he is not going anywhere.

b) Do you have evidence that they were getting clean in the late nineties?

c) The coach is the only thing that is bothering you that is worth mentioning.

d) The style is also because of the coach, this pint is redundant. So can the first point as Del Piero's absence is clearly because of Capello.

As for what the team is and what it stands for, the only thing that annoys me is the sponsorship with Tamoil and the contracts with Nike.

Big money contracts. Were the most paid in the world with Tamoil deal. Whats wrong with that?

That's the point. We were nowheare near of getting clean in the late nineties, but I thought we were. As for style, I think it's not just Capello who gets to draw everything up.

Good then. We are starting to get somewhere. So hiring Capello as manager does not mean he will take total control of the team and drag it to ruins.

It's absolutely humorous reading posts in this thread by some members who switch views on Capello seemingly every single week. One day they say Capello is the best coach in the world, the next day they state they want Capello out of Juventus after the Champions League debacle, then a week later say this promotion for Capello is simply wonderful for the team. Please find some consistency, seriously.
like who?

It's not just the coach. As stated by Ian, you support a club because of a certain philosophy. I started supporting Juventus because they were what I looked for in a football team. Now that they're becoming the complete opposite of that, I can't say I'm as much of a fan any more. Sure, some love will remain, but it's not as strong as ever.
Agree..
Before with Lippi in charge Juve fighted for every ball and played offencive and attractive football. That's why I loved Juve! All the players where fighting for their club.
With Capello its the boring 442 every game. Just as boring as Inter. Capello's tactics are too old and will bring us nowhere. Of course it will bring us nice league position in the end of the season, because we play more than average. The problem is when it comes to CUP play and other big matches. He just doesen't have a clue how to surprise the other team. We just play average(+) in every game. Nothing more nothing less

Agree. But, I think it's management mistake. Why they sold star players, only for money:cry: . Yes, we need money, but we can get with other ways. Not by sold Baggio, Vialli, Zidane, Inzaghi. We will never become a true champion if we don't have "the bigs". And I think club should give potential youngster some chances, because I they have emotional relationship with club which is not existed in some of "star" players. I extremely impressed by Raffaele Palladino said: "Juventus are the team of my heart, they always have been, I would even wear the Bianconeri jersey in Serie C if asked.”” . Conclusion: Whatever happen, I love Juventus for my lifetime.:toast:

well, going back to the main subject of the post, now that moggi is gone, leaving us with such a godman big burden, capello needs by his side the guys he trusts the most that why he chose him, im confident we'll trash next year serie A/B since no matter where we'll be, juve needs to start clearing their name
