Juventus assistant manager Angelo Alessio began his post-match interview with a heartfelt dedication.
Speaking shortly after the final whistle, Alessio said: “I’d like to dedicate the success to my uncle Domenico who passed away today.”
Reflecting on the game, the 47-year-old elected to focus on the positive aspects of the Bianconeri’s performance: “I’m happy because we shuffled the pack and picked players who had never played together before. This shows that whoever plays knows exactly what’s required of them. We could have had difficulties but we overcame them. We came up against a good Bologna side and we would have deserved to win even before added time.”
