No one said we don't need squad players. The thing is that we already have enough of those. What we actually need are players who would improve our starting line up so we could get closer to other top teams in Europe. Cerci won't get us there unlike someone like Di Maria for example.

I am not implying anything. If we are to improve our squad and attempt to be more flexible in Europe, we need far better than Cerci and Diamanti. We are already streaking in Serie A, so more depth for the league is unnecessary at this point. My argumentation is that guys like the aforementioned duo will do jack shit for us in Europe (i.e. they will not boost our chances in the CL, which is ultimately what we should be aiming for).
