Had a great career for his ability, truth be told. If he had played in Serie A 10 years before (with world class defenders) or 10 years later (more mobile and skilled strikers) he would have struggled a lot more, but that kind of classic Italian #9 was still useful. He needed service but he'd score goals.

I can't think of many like him about now, they all either have pace, skill or size on him.

matri on chiellini's book: surprising, he'd never talk about stuff in the locker
on retirement: won't change his mind, he'd like to stay in football, but not as a coach
on allegri: his most important coach
on sarri: needs time and patience
on league restart: the technical aspect will be more important, lazio won't give up, but juve is still favorite
