He was always a red merda.
Yes he was indeed, we knew that, but this did not affect his efforts here.
The circle of signing Italians just because of their nationality has (hopefully for good ) closed (unfortunately except from the center of the defense)
Matri was never good enough to base upon him on the long run, esp for a finisher.

So we were always going to sell him and since we let him choose where he goes, regardless if this hurts our financial or competition interests, i guess this was bound to happen.
He chose the team of his heart, so we have less financial profits and strengthen a direct competitior...
But anyways, we are used at being abused by our players, whom we are not own, but they own us, luckily this time we did not lose more than 50% of our investment, as it usually happens in these cases...

You are worse than a broken record.

I think the case with Quag is that there wasn't any decent offers for him, Matri has more of a market which I find weird because sure he's younger but Quag has more ability than Matri.
You're right about this. It is interesting. But my reasoning is that I think it's coz Matri is an out and out CF, which perhaps has a more defined role, while Quag seems to have a perception as an SS hybrid, even though he's comfortable closest to goal. The age factor also has some bearing. A 30 year old striker whose been on the bench for large parts of the season is not going to command much more than 7-10m.

It's no secret he has a soft spot for Milan, having come up through the ranks there. But as for what he's saying at his first press conference; that should be taken with a pinch of salt. It's all about making a great impression and winning over the tifosi at this point. It should be clear to everyone that he loved his time at Juventus, and I'm sure he'll regard winning his first ever scudetto and first major silverware as something truly special in his career. He has formed great friendships at Juventus and achieved an overall good rapport with the fans. Milan is in his heart, that was never a secret, but so is Juventus, I'm sure of it.

Yea, I'm guessing there's a bit of diplomacy but I'd have liked him to have spoken about Juve too. Maybe he did. Not seen the full interview. Anyone have it? Please share.

Giovinco should have a second chance atleast until winter if we are to ever recoup anything close to what he payed for his half. Ideally I'd send him out on loan to a team in the EPL where his speed and dribbling and general play can be of more use. Coutinho had huge trouble playing in Italy but he is performing really well in England because the game there suits his skills more. After that he might command a better price. Perhaps Arsenal or liverpool would be good destinations for him to showcase his talents.

He is not gonna make it with a Juve shirt, the pressure gets to him and our football doesnt suit him.
