I don't think we should rely on him either, in fact if he were to be the same as he was in his first season, I'd still want an upgrade. I still happen to like him.

On the other hand, you love hating on him, admit it. Won't you be disappointed to not continue your bashing if he happens to score at a good rate?

As I think I said before, I do like this, but not because of Matri (I'd love not to be able bashing him, either because of him being good or him not being in Juve). People saying he is good are the interesting part, Matri himself isn't.

A question for the Matri and Quag lovers out there:

If offers were to arrive for both Matri and Quag in the 10-12, and 8-10 million bracket respectively, would you sell them both?

My answer is a resounding yes. Over to you guys :D
I wonder who will make a offer for strikers, who can't even score.

Who cares? Youtube vids. Ooooh, I am impressed

I'd rather a consistent goalscorer, than one who bags great goals and does shit for extended periods of time. I know Quag can score great goals, but he doesn't score quite enough to be considered an elite or top level player.
If Quag plays every game from now to the end of the season, where do you think his tally will end up? He currently has 9 goals in less playing time than Gio and Vucinic. There are no grounds to say hes not a consistent goalscorer when he has almost 0 continuity.

If we gave him every game till the end of the season and he scored very few by the end of it, I'd agree with your argument whole heartedly b81. But till then its pointless cursing a decent player on the roster just because he isn't as well documented as others. You must remember, that we keep going on about how weak our strikers are, but Quag and Matri are only coming from the bench, it is Vucinic and Gio who are the ones playing regularly. So if our forwards need an upgrade, I'm afraid you'll need to start with the starters. :)

Quag has never been a prolific goalscorer. We don't need to give him an entire season to find out what we already know. Throughout his career, he has been a 1 goal in every 3 games type of guy. Hence, if we give him an entire season, he isn't likely to score more than 15-16 goals.

At this point in time, I'd release all of our forwards, if it were both feasible and my decision. Unfortunately, it's not a very economic decision, and hence we must keep at least two of them. In that case, I'd rather keep the one who gives us something extra (Vucinic), and the youngest member with potential (Gio). As I have stated numerous times before, I'd then add Llorente (since he is almost a guaranteed purchase), one of Jovetic/Suarez/Sanchez, and either Immobile or Boayke. Fuck breaking even and balancing the books (one more season isn't going to kill us). Hence, if Jovetic or Suarez aren't going to command insane salaries, I'd definitely fork out the 35+ million required to acquire them and watch us become more competitive and clinical in front of goal.

Not bad in total but to little to be a prolific goalscorer.

Quag & Matri > world class players
Totally. They are so awesome that no other clubs would want to take a chance on them unless they are desperate

I may not be Cronios, but I know I'm right when I say that Matri and Quag both suck, are shit, and if they left the club we wouldn't miss them. I can almost guarantee that, and bet my house on it

Fuck the lovers :p

Can you repeat these posts about our strikers again, I don't think we've seen you mention it enough ;)

Honestly dude. Do you have anything else to add besides the usual

Sell Matri/Quag/Padoin/Pepe and buy Jovetic/Cavani/Suarez bla bla :)
