I dont think Nedved means it so black and white though. He meant Di Vaio is the overall better player and Matri is quite limited as a player.

I beg to differ, I think he is decent and with a good SS next to him he can score. He wont be the typical (old) Juve-material but I think he can get the job done.

I think some people here refuse to see how the game has changed in Italy. There's no point in comparing generations of players coz their conditioning is different. Di Vaio was conditioned around some of the best players in the world when he was younger. Both in defence and attack. That level of quality doesn't exist in the league anymore. Therefore, this is an unfair comparison.
