Who said Matri is messiah or even something close to that? I don't think Matri is a CL material (by far), and he has yet to prove himself in the highest levels, but he's surely enough for Serie A, especially if we are aiming for 4th (well, 3th, starting next year) place. Matri is definitely our best striker now.

Vinny is an average player, who lacks everything a good striker must have. He has a good header, and he puts a lot of effort in the pitch (and by "effort" I mean "running aimlessly"), but that's all.

Besides, he's ugly as fuck!

I dont understand the standards for mediocre here. Matri has netted 16 goals so far, probably reaches 19 at the end I think. Far from a bad statistic if you ask me.
