Where did I say that football is all about the strikers? But every team needs a quality striker, look at how Spurs suffer because they don't have any classy striker despite their strong midfield.

Did you watch Olic last season? Olic and Kuyt are really underrated, they both work hard, score good amount goals and are versatile.
Matri can only play as a striker, he can't pass for shit and he kills the build up. Kuyt and Olic are capable of playing n the wings, as 2nd strikers and can lead the line, they work much harder than Matri (track back and actually know how to tackle) and they can pass and cross the ball and don't kill the build up play like Matri.

I don't dislike Matri because he has produced more than our other frontmen after Quags went down, but some of your points are questionable

At the moment, yes. But Vinny is a much better overall player than Matri. Injuries and off-form circumstances leave Vinny in a poor situation

Yes, Amauri did literally nothing for us during his time in Turin. But we all saw what the guy did in Palermo and that was the reason why we broke to bank for him. I just hope that if Matri stays with us then he continues to perform this well.
Dependent on the extent of his injury and threshold of pain he can sustain. But props regardless
