For the first time time this season we have a man who can lead the line, strong in the air, decent at sniffing out chances, healthy, and in good form...11 in 21, at a team like cagliari, is a fine season so far. I cannot see how he won't get MORE chances at Juve, than he did at cagliari...which should mean an increase in his goalscoring rate. Considering we were never going to spend big and buy one of the already proven at the top level strikers avaiable, Matri is reason to regain hope, that we can push ourselves back into contention for 4th spot. It has made a huge difference to our team losing quags. Relying on Amauri in his absence has been shocking, and i suspect that amauri's departure will lift the club as a whole. His mental and emotional state must have been extremely low, and infectious. Matri comes in, in good shape and good mind. I welcome him and wish him luck.

I actually love him.If you look through our fixtures and recent result the feeling is like we've signed Torres. Score some goals man and you'll be loved!

Same old hype surrounding a new player, with the actual fees involved ignored by the majority.

Just to put things into perspective, Amauri was a more established player than Matri when he was signed. And lets not remind folks of how many people were over the moon with his signing.

I'm not saying Matri is another Amauri, but this guy is still a relatively unknown when it comes to consistent ability and he's certainly not worth close to 20M Euros.
