On our 3rd goal, the way Matri was running at the defence made it so that the Dortmund defender couldn't commit fully to chasing Tevez, as he also has to keep an eye on Matri. It made the defender undecisive as fuck, leaving him stuck in the middle between our 2 strikers - which in turn contributed to Tevez having way more space when he received the ball from Pereyra.

In all my years of Matri fandom, this has been exactly why I've been a fan of him. He's not the best finisher out there, absolutely not, but he's a very intelligent striker with immense off the ball-movement.

His movement is absolutely brilliant and that wasn't us trolling or talking shit. It's easily his best attribute, and why he scored a decent amount of goals for us.
