Martinez was having a breakout season with Catania; he was showing a lot of promise and his move to Juventus was supposed to guarantee him absolute superstardom and fame. Shame about the injury, which robbed him of his ability to showcase his true talents, and us fans of the ability to witness a truly magical player exhibiting his skills on the biggest stage

As for Motta, his mere presence instilled fear in opponents (and team mates alike). He was and remains a fierce competitor, constantly grazing opposing defenses, and had he been given a proper opportunity under a quality coach, he'd still be among the best RB's in the modern game.
