 @ the tags. New Trez :howler: What an insult to the great man.
you remember what he said about having not picked up the pen? more like he tried to then dropped it

We've only played 45 minutes, and most of you fuckers are only raging because he missed that so called "100 % chance", which he did very well to create himself by latching onto that pass. It's his good movement that enables him to get onto such passes. Thing is, though, that ball was so close to the goalkeeper when it arrived at Matri's feet, so close that it was almost impossible to score. But yeah, go ahead, hate him for that.
not just that but his lack of effort and his work rate is piss poor. he looked extremely lazy today there was a point in the 2nd half when he was actually standing where the RWB should be and as Juve pushed forward Matri made no effort to move with them, it is moments like this that piss me off the most about him.

:touched: How could I possibly forget? However, it's hard to hate limited players, who are generally frustrating. Matri might be more of a footballer than the likes of Padoin, Pepe, and Giacherrini, but he is equally as annoying and frustrating. Just like them, when things don't work out for him, he truly sucks.

this
matri didn't play good at all
but that chance he got was almost impossible to score and very well done of the goalkeeper of Palermo.

he was tired and indeed he doesn't have the lungs as the likes of marchisio, vidal, licht etc.
further I agree matri's time at juve is up
but that was already the case last summer. I don't know if he didn't want to leave but I think he should go back to club at his level as parma, cagliari etc.

almost impossible? is that what Marchisio said when he came up against Julio Cesar when he was at inter? JUST DINK IT OVER THE FUCKING GOALKEEPER! But then again Matri isn't exactly Drogba class so why waste our time giving sympathy to Matri

I think that point when he was rwb was after he had done a pretty hefty run down that bog on the right flank after working back to win the ball back and do a pretty laboured dribble. Plus you can hardly blame him for being tired, the guy has barely played.

I actually think Matri should do less work and just stick around the centre forward area.

He didn't have a great game but both of Mirko's chances off the post were from him linking up as centre forward. I would play him in the Coppa to give him more minutes and try and get his sharpness up.

Yeah not the fittest player. But not everyone cant run like marchisio espessially in conditions like this. Also not matchfit.
Padoin has played less minutes than Matri yet he looked fitter than Matri, at least he applied himself whenever he could

matri looked tired from the start which is just pathetic, his work rate sucked today as it does most of the time when things arn't going for him. Fucking hell its moments like this i just wish we brought Drogba already

padoin is not matchfit at all, he looks lost all the time. but ofcourse he can run more than matri, considering he is a midfielder, or full back. drogba would be horrible here, he is fucking retired so i dont understand why you talk about him. (playing in china = retired)

matri is at an all time low when it comes to confidence and play time, no wonder he doesnt perform when given the odd chances. he should play more, and the goals would come, no doubt about it. he is in no way worse than quag, gio and bendtner, so he should play more.

Hilarious... all I can say...
Why don't you all go hate on Vuci as well? he missed more chances tham Matri did!

He is playing like shit currently, but he is the least to play and the least given confidence...

It is simple, form is temporary, class is permanent. Drogba is still a class player regardless of his age and who he is playing for. I bet if we had the chance of signing Del Piero again or even Trezeguet many of you wouldn't be moaning of age and the fact they play in a league of lesser quality.

Vucinic is useful when he's not scoring because he is quite good at shielding the ball, creating space for other players and assisting.

Matri, on the other hand...
While Matri isn't Vuci when it comes to linking up, he isn't useless as people make him here...

He created some chances today, he also started the 3rd goal vs Toro... keep in mind he isn't offered the time the others got!

yeah, your logic is flawed. might as well sign platini and zidane, since class is permanent as you say. looks at drogbas goalscoring stats from his last season in chelsea, great yeah?

did it ever occur to you they both retired a long time ago? Drogba is still playing. His goalscoring stat from last season is almost irrelevant since he was injured for a big portion of the season, that doesn't hide the fact he is still a pure goalscorer. Whatever the case he is still light years better than any of our strikers.

the ball was on a horrible pitch, the ball was not under control of matri, and the goal keeper was very close. no way matri could get his feet under the ball.

I am with you that matri is not good enough for juve, even when he was in form he showed that he is just a midtable striker.
