if you mean with the ball at his feet, then certainly. As for striking-technique, Trez was one of the very best ever. He could finish off moves with his head and with his feet that other strikers could only dream of.

Is kinda unfair to compare trez skills with anyone....i mean trezeguet was terribad at dribbling and everything else. He just knew to pass the ball back and run forward....

BUT

somehow he always was on the scoresheet, and that was no coincidence...... he had terrific scoring skills; positioning, finishing, first touch.
That compensated a lot of his flaws...but of course were apparent when the team was not able to make him receive passes.

Matri has better skills and speed other than that Trez is much better at everything else. I still think Matri is excellent and a great finisher though just not on Trez's level yet.

Yes. I have never seen Trez beat his marker (as in dribble/run past him).
Also never seen Trez hold the ball at his feet for more than 3 seconds or run with it for more than 3 meters.

His finishing and instincts are better tho, can't deny that.

Why waste time on holding the ball instead of scoring as he would always do. I mean come on, he knew he was not good at dribbling why not giving the ball to someone who can dribble and do what you're best at. He passes back to our players and he goes in the box and wait for the pass to finish it off.
