Birindelli should be a starter today, he served us for many years and he never complained for his sub status. Unlike other subs he wasnt always injured and he was always available to help us in less or more important games.
I will never forget his best cross to Zala's head!! Thank you for everything Biri your small contributions and your heroic CL moments!

A disposizione: Vanstrattan, Birindelli, Pasquato, Palladino.

According to the official site he was sitting on the bench. The cameras even showed him while he was sitting on the bench. Conclusion:He wasn't injured.Or he injured himself on the bench like Dida did.

But Adidas said that impossible is nothing.

is Adidas lying?
Not at all but look at it this way.

Some people expect the impossible, impossible is nothing then some people expect the nothing. This doesn't mean an injured player can play, even with Adidas' words of wisdom.

Interesting way of putting things into perspective :D

Birindelli missed last week's match due to muscular problems. He wasn't training ever since and yet, surprisingly, he was among the called players for this match.
I can only speculate but there is a big possibility that Biri was still injured but yet he was given a chance to at least sit on the bench.
