Very interesting player. He needs to buff up a bit to be a BtB midfielder on a top team.

Hope we dont loose him because Beppe start penny pinching over a couple of mil.

Can run with pace forward and actually do it well. Much needed pace for our midfield and overall transition game.

Father: Golovin learning English
By Football Italia staff

Aleksandr Golovin’s father has claimed that the CSKA Moscow midfielder and Juventus target is ‘learning English’.

Golovin looked to be on his way to Juve before the World Cup, but an impressive performance in Russia’s opening 5-0 victory over Saudi Arabia appears to have not only driven his price up but also drawn interest from Premier League clubs.

“Aleksandr doesn’t want to read any news as he’s focused on Russia and the World Cup,” his dad was quoted as saying by Premium Sport.

“I’m sure my son will be able to play at a new level. It’ll be difficult even with a new language, but he’s already started to learn English.”

Can-Pjanic-Golovin

wat do?
Seems a bit light especially if two of the three attackers are going to be Dybala and Higuian

Have only seen Golovin in the World Cup but he doesn't seem to have much a physical/ athletic presence and I know Pjanic doesn't have one.

Unless we are aiming to radically change the team, play tiki taka and dominate possession I would think we need a little more physicality in the middle

I think Can will offer more physical presence than Sami. He's got a big build like Khedira but has the mobility that Sami doesn't have anymore.

Golovin may not provide as much steel as Matuidi, but he still puts in defensive work. At least he will contribute more technically (if he's as good as he looks so far).

May be a little lighter, but we may be better overall I guess
